A short walk from King St. 'The Tuckertown' is a spacious private historic property. Rare downtown amenities include the fabulous shared Spring Island Collection Pool. The property offers an open kitchen & living area, opening directly to traditional southern piazza. Plenty of space for guests to relax. Property amenities also include parking, dog run, & lush landscaping.

The Space:
The Tuckertown is a completely restored historic Charleston home with two floors of sweeping porches.

The Tuckertown can accommodate up to 10 guests between 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, large kitchen and living room.

Guest Access:
Each unit is equipped with coded locks that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.

Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock near the pool for all Spring Islands guests to use as needed. We welcome guests to use the pool while they await their check-in.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the peninsula.

Refresh and relax at the Jr. Olympic pool complete with pool-side cabanas or savor the onsite eateries offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and trendy cocktails. Guests can also enjoy an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost.

While theft is rare Charleston is a city and we encourage guests to ensure their cars are locked and all valuables have been removed.

Town & Island Co. welcomes all our furry companions. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s), so we can add this charge to your booking. Please note: If upon check out, we see evidence of an unregistered pet, the $75 pet fee will be taken out of your SD authorization hold.
We ask guests traveling with their pets to not allow them on any furniture to maintain the quality and cleanliness of our human centered spaces. **no pets on furniture and beds**

*Severe Weather Policy*

Our severe weather and Extenuating Circumstances: Hurricane Policy is as follows:

If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC specifically for the county in which your property is located for the dates of your stay, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect. In this case we WILL refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest and we shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation.

However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued. This is the case even if the guest chooses to cancel or travel is disrupted due to the storm.

Additionally, if there is adverse weather phenomenon outside of Charleston or SC (ie. other regions of the US or abroad) during the dates of the guests' stay which hinders the guests from traveling to the property, the standard cancellation policy will still apply. Therefore, a refund will NOT be issued.

***ATTENTION***
Hurricane season is during the months of June-November. During this time we HIGHLY recommend guests research and purchase travel insurance.

Great stay
We had a short family vacation. The rooms all had their own bathrooms and the kitchen area had a large table to fit 10. The house was close to shops and easily accessible to downtown by car. We enjoyed the pool as well. We loved that it was pet friendly, comfortable and relaxing. The management was very responsive to all our questions and needs. Definitely will stay again!

Great house, great location, great city
We loved our stay at "Tucker Town." This is a wonderful property, and we found everything to be accurate with what was described on the listing. We spent much of our time outside on the upstairs porch. Each bedroom has its own devoted bathroom (only one room doesn't have an en suite entrance, though it does have a dedicated bathroom right next door). Everything was very clean. The pool was truly heated, even enough for my five-year-old girls, who usually get pretty cold in the pool, to play in it for a long time. The location was great with coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The rental staff were very quick to respond whenever I had a question. It was a fantastic spot, everyone in the family had a great time, and we would be happy to stay here again!

Terrific property in transitional neighborhood. Nice to have four bathrooms - one for each bedroom. Loved the big island in the kitchen for gathering. 90 degree pool was used even though air temp was high 60's.
