Auringossa rentoutuminen ei ole koskaan ollut mukavampaa kuin tämän alkuperäisen Folly-kodin valtavalla merenrantakannella! Kun et ole purjelautailua, pyöräilemässä rantaa tai melontalautailua, käytä tilavaa auringonottoa, josta on näkymät majesteettiseen Atlantin valtamereen. Keittiössä keitä romanttinen illallinen kahdelle nauttiaksesi ruokailutilassa, josta on näkymät veteen tai alas rannalle. Mikroaaltouuni popcornia klassisten elokuvien yötä varten tilavalla oleskelutilassa ennen koiran ottamista myöhään illalla kävelemään pitkin aaltoja.

Ranta on vain muutaman askeleen päässä etuovelta. Ota polkupyörä tai hyppää autossa suunnataksesi rantaa kohti vain 2 mailin päässä sijaitsevaa majakkain sisääntulon perintöaluetta. Voit kävellä tai pyöräillä suojelualueen läpi nauttiaksesi näkymistä Morris Islandin majakkaan vain pienellä lahjoituksella. Paikalliset kaupat, hieno ruokasali ja Folly Beach Pier ovat kaikki alle kahden mailin päässä. Sadly disappointed

Woefully neglected property. The stench of mildew and animal urine made the sunroom unusable. Couches also had urine all over them. Half the windows in the sunroom had the seals broken in them so you could not see out of them anyway. Window in one of the bedrooms had actually fallen out due to the rotted wood on the frame. The property management communication between the call center( overseas) and the local team was terrible and they just pointed the blame at each other. It took three days and 7 phone calls to get someone out to get us internet. It is too bad as it is a very nice location and a nice town. I am guessing the real owners never go there or they would be embarrassed. Although not the fault of the property, one other note for dog owners. If you have never been to Folly Beach before, please note that at high tide there is NO beach, so you are forced the walk your dogs on a semi busy two lane rode with no sidewalks and no lights

I had to wash all my clothes two times because it smelled so musty. The back porch on the picture that is presented to us is not true. The windows are rotten. The carpet stinks and it stained from pet urine. It’s disgusting. I was tempted to send an email to the person that owns the home in Illinois. Send her a trust fund they need to not charge is much for this home. Location is great. The home is disgusting.

Beach

Nice property but very dated 60 or 70s. Florida room was beautiful but had a very bad smell to the room. Took the 3 days we were there to air it out. Place could very top notch place to stay. Just needs more TLC then it has been getting.

Recommend another property!!!

For the money that I paid this is apsolutly horrible!!! Not only could we not get in the vacation rental for an hour and a half due to the door code being completely off, until I found a unlocked door. Thank God for that because no one was ever dispatched or called with the correct code to get in the house. when we did enter the house the thermostat was reading 84% in the house, come to find out both AC units are shot need complete replacement in the beach rental house. Of course we found that out a full day later. I contacted the company around 5:05 they were able to bring us portable AC units the next day. The family and I ended up sleeping outside on the balcony because it was literally cooler outside than in the house. This company should be ashamed of service and quality. The company did offer a full refund but that would mean we'd have to pack up and leave that day they also offered for us to change our vacation dates. Which I think is absurd due to the fact people work and cannot just change or request for new vacation days while they're on vacation. Those were the only options. Now for all who booked vacations the cleaning crews usually show up before guest arrive whichmeans the company was fully aware that it was 84° in the the house before we arrive. On top of that when I requested to extend our stay or if they had another location on the beach they did not nor could they extend our stay due to this house being booked back to back. Sorry for who's there now.

Great location

Pros: The house had an amazing location. Being right on the beach was so convenient and fun. We also loved being only a couple of miles from restaurants/bars. The beds were comfortable. Being able to bring dogs was super helpful. On the surface, everything was clean. The deck and sunroom were great to relax but still have an ocean view. Cons: Our check in code did not work upon arrival and getting in touch with the property manager was slightly difficult. The sunroom had flying ants that came out in the evening (but we were too shocked since it was so buggy outside). The kitchen could have used some updates, so if you plan on cooking a lot I would be prepared for that. The air conditioning worked our first day but stopped blowing out air our second day. Overall, though, I would stay at the house again since the location was so amazing.

Enjoyed the Area

If you are all about location and beach access then this is a good place to stay. The price would indicate a property that is updated and modern, but once you get there the views and location trump the 1970’s decor.

We’ll lived in house with lovely view

It started with door code not working; had trouble finding appropriate person to call. Once I got ahold of Vacasa person she had a backup code. Outside spigot leaked and you couldn’t use it and there was no outside shower. I was told there was no DVD player but there were two. No instructions on how to set one up or instructions for tv. Other than that, it was a very nice visit!

Disappointed smelled awful

Dirty furniture rat droppings in the kitchen drawer Couldn’t cook there because that made us sick. Sun room carpet stained in many places.didn’t even sit on the furniture couldn’t sleep from the smell we spent a lot of money to stay here definitely not worth it .It was our anniversary tried to reach out to management they should have refunded this whole trip.

Very Disappointed

The pictures on this house are very deceiving and do not accurately represent its state of disrepair. We arrived to find the roof leaking in several places. This was not a recent issue because the flooring was rotting and soft in some places. The shelving in the refrigerator door was broken off, making that storage unusable. The bathroom medicine cabinet door was broken off and the towel holders were also broken. The old wood veneer doors had large pieces that had peeled off and the paint was peeling off the wall in one of the bathrooms. The location of this rental was great, however, the condition of the property was the worst I have experienced. After many great experiences through VRBO, this was not what I was expecting.

Never rent this property!

There was sewage in the laundry room! This place was truly awful and is falling apart. Don't waste your money! Website photos are misleading and do not show how bad this place really is. AC and oven did not work properly. Outside there were sharp objects sticking out of the house that were dangerous to human and pets.

Relaxing and low key vacation spot

Nice location. Quiet beach. Best part was that the beach was not crowded. House is a bit old and furniture needs replacing. But did not bother us too much. Bed was great and kitchen good. If you’re looking for a modern house, this isn’t it.

Nice to be on the beach but-house is quit inadequate

The house is quit ild and needs some maintenance issues taken care of and a good deep cleaning. No ice, very few adequate dishes, not even 2 wine glasses, NO coffee filters. The carpet in the sunroom is very stained with pet stains and smells. Air conditioning was very poor even after ac guy came he told us its an old unit with old windows. We were so hot in October that we left a day early because I could not sleep one more night sweating. I understand being an older house but if you are going to charge ppl to stay here it should at least be a little more maintained. Pretty rough in all acspects.

Great sunroom overlooking the ocean, rest of house just ok

The spacious sunroom overlooking the ocean was amazing. There is a dining area and a sitting area, so much of your time can be spent there when not on the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small, and the kitchen has not been updated in a while. We had some issues with some of the appliances, but the property manager was very responsive. There are a lot of owner personal items cluttering the closets, and a large portrait of the owners above the bed which is a bit odd for a rental. Overall, the beachfront location is great, although the boardwalk to the beach has been buried at the end so you have to jump down and climb up which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The inside of the property was clean but there was broken glass, trash, and other junk around the outside. This was reported to the property manager as well. We expected a little more for what we paid, but the location and the sunroom made it worth it overall.

The property has an awesome location and view of beach! only challenge is The furniture that is very old and odd/ugly mix also did not have hot water for entire stay...but for location, it is fantastic!
