We are pleased to offer Oasis at Ballycastle as a vacation rental. We are confident that you won't find a better place to enjoy the charm, mysticism, and natural delights of Lake Norman! Upon arrival at Oasis, you are greeted with a gorgeous custom front door with extensive glasswork. Once inside, the open concept lets you notice the new, gray hardwood floors in the living, dining, and kitchen areas and professionally decorated house.

Let's take a tour of your retreat:

The chef's kitchen has a new island with seating for four and new appliances, including a gas stove. The eat-in dining area has seating for 6 with great pool and lake views! The kitchen is stocked for you to whip up a quick meal or snack and entertain while hosting a family dinner!

Steps away from the kitchen is the open-concept living room with large windows for amazing views of the pool, dock, and newly installed beach. Sit down and enjoy the comfy new couches while watching games and movies on the large 72" TV. Adjacent to the living room is the formal dining area with a large table and seating for 10!

The main level also hosts three bedrooms, two full baths, a half bath, and a laundry room. The primary bedroom with a king bed has a newly configured en suite bath with a large, tiled, walk-in shower featuring a rain shower head and separate sauna. Turn up the heat for some invigorating time alone in the sauna!

The remaining two bedrooms share a hall bath and have a queen and king beds, respectively.

An additional upper level has been built for a spacious open room featuring 3 queen beds, a seating area, and a full bath. This will be a coveted spot for teens and young adults to have their own space...first come, first serve!

The lower level is perfect for entertaining. Complete with a full kitchen, all new appliances, and a small desk space to check emails on your way out to the dock and pool area. Enjoy the sitting area with a couch, two comfy chairs, and a huge 72" TV for the kids to enjoy Netflix or play on the gaming console. Additionally, the lower level boasts two bedrooms and a full and half bath. There is a queen bedroom and bunk room with two twin-over-full bunk beds for all the kids to camp out!

The garage has recently been converted to a new game room featuring a ping pong table, a love seat, and a full-size refrigerator.

Outside is what makes this Oasis stand out! The options are limitless, and there is no reason to fight over seating as there is plenty to go around. The new 3' pavers lead guests from the house to the multiple options in the backyard.

First stop, the newly installed 15' beach awaits you on the water's edge. Past the beach and its decisions, decisions, decisions. Do we go to the pool, hot tub, kitchen, and seating area or to the dock for some lakeside fun?

If you pass the pool, head to the full outdoor kitchen to complete a meal with a grill, stove, fridge, and dishwasher! Do not worry about getting too hot, as a large industrial-size fan keeps everyone cool. Or, you can turn on the screen porch fireplace, as you sit and watch the sunset on the large sectional and loungers. The kitchen area is a great place to challenge your guests to corn hole or life-size Connect Four games! Big game on? No problem, overlooking the lake is a large TV! A half bath in the kitchen area for guests convenience!

Let's remember, Oasis is a lake house. So, let's head on down to the large, multi-level dock! Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys, including a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets. The dock-installed catamaran netting is perfect for all to enjoy laying out lakeside or even a quick nap!

Leaving Oasis will be the biggest struggle of your retreat!

Home Truths:
- For boat rentals, please reach out to us at least 24 hours before your stay.
- If you choose to bring your own boat, there is no lift and the house is located on a busy channel.
- The screen porch fireplace is available for usage with fire wood provided.
- Spices/Oils, Etc: These items are not guaranteed. Sometimes they are left behind and available, but they are cleaned out regularly.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- There is no ice maker in the house, however, there is one in the pool house.
- The kitchen table seats 10.
- Please note that events and parties are not allowed.
- Indoor fireplaces are NOT for guest use.

Parking Details:
Maximum of 7 cars allowed onsite.
No parking on the grass or street.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 30 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
