Cute find!
This is the cutest little find!! It is well taken care of and the staff was amazing. They have a little bit of renovations going on, which did not impede the trip at all. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice too. They are currently doing some renovations, so the pool was unavailable, but it looked nice thru the door. The Front Desk staff was very kind and welcoming and even remembered me from a visit several years ago, which was nice!

Highly recommend this hotel!!!
We stayed at the English Inn for 3 nights while in Charlottesville to meet friends. We were extrememly pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the rest of the facility even though they are doing some remodeling. The shower was very powerful and the hot water came on quickly which we loved! The breakfast area was very large with a wonderful buffet - the best we have had at any hotel! The staff is very helpful and friendly (thanks James & Erica!) and Scott the Manager is on top of all duties and situations! Thanks to all of them for making our stay so enjoyable.

This was our second time staying at this property. Nice establishment with friendly staff. You're close to downtown but not paying for downtown prices as parking onsite is free. Room comfortable and we had both a mini fridge and microwave. Property has both a pool and fitness center and serves breakfast in morning as well as tea time. Beautiful lobby and near a hiking trail. Do not expect a lot of bells and whistles but I would stay here again.
