Situated on the upper level, this bedroom is a tranquil retreat fully furnished with a comfortable bed, desk with chair, lamp, mirror, and a smart TV featuring Netflix & Amazon Prime for your entertainment. Enjoy the luxury of your own private deck, furnished and exclusively yours to relish. We've ensured your comfort with a comfy mattress

The duplex apartment boasts an open floor plan with a spacious living room, kitchen, and one full bathroom on the lower level, with an additional full bathroom on the upper level.

Guests have convenient self-check-in access to the property. Additionally, free street parking is available right in front of the building, as well as nearby bus transportation (94 California bus + 12 Roosevelt bus) within walking distance, simplifying your transportation needs.

Please note that **this is a shared space**, and as such, we kindly request that common areas such as the kitchen, bathrooms, and living room are kept clean and orderly at all times. To ensure the comfort and security of all guests, external visitors are not permitted beyond the individual listed on the reservation.

VRBO in Chicago
My stay in Chicago was excellent. The property was very conveniently located right off the expressway. Getting to any parts of Chicago was a breeze. The property was nicely decorated and clean. With the warm weather still in Chicago, the property was nice and cool. Everything needed was located at the property, refrigerator, stove, microwave. Two suggestions I would make is 1) A hook in the bathroom for a robe and 2) Stickies on the tube floor (it's quite slippery when showering) Thank you for your hospitality!! I would stay again!! Dangerous neighborhood
Incredibly dangerous neighborhood. Person shot on the corner while I was there. I left the next day, 2 days early for fear of my own safety. Drug deals going on all night in empty lot behind the house. Lots of fighting and yelling There is a reason there are 5 locked doors to get into the property Every Uber driver who dropped me off warned me not to stay there. Joelle excuses the behaviour as a neighborhood in transition. The people in the “hood” have not gotten the message Sirens all night and excessive barking dog next door. Bed was comfortable but didn’t sleep the whole time. Place was clean

The property is located in an older neighborhood. However, it has been remodeled and is very clean and modern. I was looking for inexpensive lodging for my son as he was attending a conference in downtown Chicago. It is very reasonably priced and the property manager Joelle responded to questions in a timely manner. My biggest concern is the contradicting description of the apartment. The first line says... "About this property Entire place You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party." Then further down the paragraph it says... "Please note that this is a shared space..." So please NOTE! This is indeed a SHARED space and you will NOT have the entire apartment to yourself. My son was somewhat startled when he ran into another guest because I explained that he would have the place to himself. I did not read the description in its entirety. It is a house with 3 bedrooms. However, he never felt unsafe. And there are locks on the bedroom doors and other security measures in place. However, that first line should really be removed from the description. It is very misleading.

Great price and value
Spent 2 weeks in Chicago for an externship, was looking for an affordable place. This place was neat and tidy with housekeeping coming frequently to clean after other guests left. This location is a shared space with 2 rooms and 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor and 1 bath 1 bed on the main floor. The room I stayed in was so spacious and clean when I arrived. The host, Joelle is so helpful and always available to answer questions. The place is secure with a locked front gate and a total of 3 locked doors before entering the home in addition to a lock on your bedroom door. Location was very close to all main attractions.
