Stay in one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago - Old Town! Recently
renovated spacious top floor condo with all modern amenities, in a classic
19th century Chicago home in one of the best parts of the city with access to
dining, bars, entertainment and more. Ideal for traveling families and
friends, and plenty of Chicago culture nearby, from nearly every era. A
neighborhood bar with Frank Sinatra's favorite ribs! Michelin-starred
restaurants! Only 20 minutes to the Loop on the train and a very short walk
(10 min) to the lake front and North Ave beach!
This is the top floor of a 2 story building.
Please keep in mind this is a QUIET residential neighborhood. We respect all
of our neighbors quiet enjoyment of their home, so please be respectful when
entering and exiting the home.
Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need
additional time, please consider booking an extra day.
Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Any group
looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are
expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full
duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people
in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique
circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else
but do not intend to stay yourself.
Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some
street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs
before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To
guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find
and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.
**House Rules:**
Please respect our home and neighbors. Violations of ANY of the following
rules may result in fines and/or termination of your reservation without a
refund.
1. No parties or unapproved guests - Only registered guests may access the property. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.
2. No additional visitors - Only those listed on the reservation may enter the property. Any additional visitors must be declared and pre-approved.
3. Respect quiet hours - Keep noise levels down, especially between 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Failure to respect quiet hours or disturbances from an unauthorized gathering will result in termination of the reservation without refund and may result in additional fines to pay city tickets or HOA fines for violations.
4. Check-out on time - Please vacate the unit and return any issued keys by the agreed check-out time. Late check-outs will incur a $250 fee.
5. No smoking - Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the building premises. Evidence of smoking, including odor, will result in a $500 remediation charge. Local laws also prohibit smoking within 15 feet of any entrance.
6. Lockouts & lost keys - A $150 lockout fee applies per occurrence. Lost keys or remotes will incur a $50 replacement fee each.
7. Lost & found - We are not responsible for lost items. If something is left behind, we will attempt to locate it and ship it at your expense. Please check all drawers and closets before departure.
Additional Policies:
* Guest verification - To comply with legal and security requirements, you may need to sign a rental agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact details, and submit a selfie matching your ID.
* Guest screening - Guests must have a positive track record on the booking platform and provide details about their stay and the guests traveling with them.
* AutoHost verification - We conduct additional screening after booking and reserve the right to decline reservations that do not pass verification.
