I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so here. We arrived to the hotel later in the evening, 3 adults and two teenagers, exhausted after a day of traveling. We had two adjoining rooms booked - one king, and one with two queens for 3 people. When we checked in, we were given keys to adjoining rooms that were already occupied! You can imagine our shock when we opened the doors and saw other guests’ items. Fortunately, the other guests didn’t appear to be in the rooms at the time, so we quickly shut the doors and left. Then, it took forever to figure out rooms for us. They ended up not adjoining and not the bed configuration we reserved. (Three people in a king room with no sofa bed would not work.) When we requested a rollaway bed for the third person in the King room, it took over an hour for one to arrive - only to see it had no bedding and was just parked in the hall with no set up. This only added to the exhaustion and frustration. When we tried to call the front desk, the telephone in one of the rooms didn’t work. The bathrooms are desperately in need of an update. It was just an overall very bad experience right before Christmas. I certainly expected more from an Omni. The one bright spot was Sunday breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Food was fantastic and service was excellent. The location is also ideal. But, unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
