The room is clean and cozy, but you can tell the furnitures are old but still functional. The major problem is noise, you can hear all the noise from the hallway, and every morning around 4am, there will be big noise from the garbage collection outside the hotel. Overall, it’s a good stay.

It’s a stunning vintage property, key word vintage. Warped Wallpaper, dingy lamps HOWEVER don’t let that keep you from staying here, the room was clean, I’m a “clean your hotel before you even take your shoes off” girl and there wasn’t much I had to do. The staff were great through and through, It was my first solo trip and they made it a very special one. The location is GREAT very convenient even though I kept getting lost yikes. Overall I’d visit again, I kinda like knowing it was around so long ago!

We have stayed at this property several times and are always pleased with the impeccable service we are given! This time we stayed with several family members and they loved it as well. A few years ago we stayed here with my Sister and her family. Now this is the only Hotel that my niece and her husband stay at when visiting Chicago!

We enjoy staying at the Whitehall, this was our second time staying here. We love the history and the boutique feel of this hotel. Staff was great, room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was cozy. The restaurant was really good, we had breakfast there both mornings and enjoyed the bar for beverages to take back to our room. Very walkable area for restaurants and shopping.
