I forgot my iPad at the hotel. When I walked into lobby housekeeping had already brought it down to the desk. Honestly is a huge plus! Would stay her again!

The hotel furnishing and decor are very very dated. Owner seems to be very cheap. We used to stay at the Hampton each trip through the city. Not staying again. I detest a cheap sob!

Disappointed

Not in a hurry so I went for the slightly more expensive more features option in Childress. Staff was nice, room was clean, beds were comfortable——but TV service was acting up (not their fault—Direct TV), hot tub was out of service, treadmill didn’t work and at breakfast all the coffee was cold (tried three different pots). A staff member did warm my coffee in the kitchen microwave (thanks).

Easy access, staff friendly and welcoming and respond quickly to questions/concerns. Quiet and beds comfortable. Good breakfast and the best scones I have eaten. Wish the hot tub had been working.

The internet was down and I had to wait 40 minutes to get a room. The ladies in front office didn’t know what to do. I paid for 2 queens and I didn’t receive queens. The area is noisy with a lot of trucks around and next the hotel. There were people smoking weed and with beers in hand. No safe for families!!

The hotel allows pets and when we arrived to our room about 10 pm our duvet had urine on it. :( yuck! Disgusting!!!! I wanted to leave but we were so tired....went down to the front desk and the sweet lady gave me a duvet cover as it was all she had. This tells me they the duvet cover was not changed!

Only thankful for Erica at the front desk.

We checked in at 9pm, after driving for 12 hours and were exhausted. We got to our room and it smelled like pet urine, and the bed had about a 4” sag in the center of it. Within minutes of setting our stuff down, there were kids running, stomping, and screaming down the hallway. Erica, at the front desk (who was handling everything on her own, with no help), was kind enough to move us to a different room. She called someone for help, but the person on the other end of the phone just questioned why she needed help, and wouldn’t actually come help her. We got to our new room, and the bathroom was gross. Hair all over the tub/bathroom floor. The nightstand was sticky, and the floor clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. The breakfast options were pretty limited but we also didn’t get downstairs until 9am, so that could have just been a timing thing.

We found a tick in our bed. The hotel management basically said “sorry” and did nothing else. They didn’t even refund the money for our stay. Additionally, dogs were barking all night, which kept us awake.

The Hampton inn is a perfect hotel for Childress. We do try to stay here on our way to Denver. We’re grateful that the hotel is clean and a good warm breakfast. We highly enjoy!
