*Would we recommend: absolutely* When we come back to the Springs, I hope this is available
(Note: This was our first VRBO) I can't say enough good things. First: Property Managers: they were changed to daughter (Courtney) mid-reservation, no issues whatsoever. There were no changes to the easy reservation process. Check-in process easy. Email check-in day provided all information we needed to know. We even checked in at 8pm. There were multiple entry options in case one wasn't working-awesome. During rental process I asked several questions/emails. They were responded to same day with excellent information, including where to visit, recommendations of food,.... stuff needed for a first time visitor to Colorado Springs. The restaurant and property grounds keeper was also a wealth of information.
Apartment: Great. All as advertised and in great shape AND clean. All kitchen utensils and eating stuff were all there with enough items for four. Pots / pans,.... were all there and looked new. Information notebook was there containing various items, how to work things, nearby restaurants, food arrangements,..... All washer/dryer/refrigerator,... worked well. We did not utilize the yoga room (too old for me) but it was stocked appropriately. TV's worked well but didn't use them much. Living room was big with lots of couches. The only slight we found was the air conditioning in the kitchen. Since this is an old residence, there is no central air. The kitchen side of the unit was facing the sun most of the day and that room could become come very warm but there were multiple fans/conditioners to take care of this. NOTE, we were there for the hottest week of the summer, over 90 degrees daily. Normal average highs are around 84 degrees. Additionally, this is Colorado, no humidity which makes it much better. Shower / washer / dryer/... appeared new.
Parking: dedicated outdoor parking spot fifty feet away-nice
Location: can't be beat. Near to anything you wanted to do in the Springs including the Broadmoor, seven falls, downtown, hiking, garden of the gods, Pikes Peak (try the tram)..... Never more than 15 minutes to/from from any of these and more.
Quiet neighborhood. No issues at all.
Breakfast: daily breakfast and coffee provided form the restaurant below. Excellent. I live on coffee and a specialty shop below made my day. Coffee provided in the apartment was a good roast also.
