Outdoor Adventurer's Paradise in Woodland Park

Summary:
Are you ready for an outdoor adventure? We hope so! This three bedroom, three bathroom cabin can be your home away from home, and the perfect starting point for a vacation to remember!

The cabin is situated perfectly for outdoor fun. You’re minutes from the Catamount Reservoir trailhead; head out for a bike ride, or bring the fishing poles and the canoe for a day on the water.

At the end of the day, this cabin is your piece of paradise with a cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub!

The Space:
This house is fairly remote. Cell service is limited. There is satellite wifi at the house that is good for email or social media, but can't really handle streaming.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house, yard and the garage.

The Neighborhood:
This house is located 10 minutes from Woodland Park so you're close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops, but you'll feel relaxed and secluded among the trees.

Please be aware of the altitude and altitude sickness while staying in this area.

This is a dry, wooded area with high fire risk. Outdoor fires are not allowed at this property at any time. The fireplaces and propane grill are allowed.

Getting Around:
In the summer, this house is easily accessible by any vehicle. The attached garage and large circle drive makes getting to the cabin and parking easy. In the winter, snow can make it hard to drive around the area. We recommend 4 wheel drive or chains for your tires.

Other Things to Note:
Heat Only, No Air Conditioning.

No Pets

Interaction with Guests:
I won't be on-site, but I'm always available. I'm a call, text or message away. If you need help at the house, I'm a short drive away.

Nice little place but wasn’t clean
This is a nice retreat and was perfect for us. Not to long of a drive and very private. We enjoyed the stay. Our only complaint was the house was very dirty. There was someone else’s hair in the master shower and popcorn all in the couch and on the floor. The place should of been properly cleaned and that made it harder to enjoy as we did not get a sense that it was sanitary. We ended up washing most things before we used them. The carpet in the place is also very old and kind of gross. It has stains everywhere which is not the biggest deal but I would of at least liked a clean shower given the cleaning fees

Relaxing
After being in Estes Park with our family, me and my kids came here to stay for 3 nights. It was easy more lowkey and relaxing without all of the tourists. The view from our balcony was gorgeous, and we were minutes (walk) away from walking trails with an ABSOLUTELY stunning view!! The kids loved just exploring in the back yard which was nothing but forests. There were toys for my littles, which they played with a lot. And board games and puzzles.. which we also played with. Easy instructions on tv/dvd/satellite remotes. The drive into the town woodland park was short for our groceries or dinner or a coffee. The town is adorable and the ppl were wonderful. Id go again next year!

Amazing location
We loved our stay here. Everything was very clean. The view and location were amazing-it is walking distance to trailheads and a short hike to the reservoir. It has great spaces for everyone. Our only negatives were a couple maintenence issues that had been ignored for awhile (according to past guests' log) and the owner did not answer any of my emails prior to our stay. Not a huge deal, but caused us to have to haul a bunch of stuff we didn't need. The lack of communication was disappointing but the house was great.

Our family of four had a wonderful time. Not far from Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc. (and just10 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants), but felt secluded on top of the mountain. Views were terrific! We had a lovely and comfortable stay.

Spent 6 nights here, we loved it! The view was amazing, there were deer right outside our windows. Hot tub was cathartic! Shopping was close. We recommend this spot!

The most amazing views - can't wait to stay again!
This is by far my favorite place I've probably ever stayed. Waking up each morning to the view from the living room was so magical. The entire home felt so cozy - the hot tub and fireplace were just cherries on top. We had some pretty intense snow checking out and the owner was really fast to respond about roads being safe enough to drive. Check in and check out was super easy and the little pinnable map for guests was a really cute touch! The whole house was full of fun and thoughtful surprises by the owner. Can't recommend this property enough and can't wait to go back!

We were hoping for a relaxing and serene weekend and this place delivered. Wish we had seen a bit more wild life and expectations were pretty high, I mean bears were mentioned several times in the welcome packet, lol! Seriously wonderful place beautiful views and would definitely go back!

Very accommodating place and host! Gorgeous view, short 10 or so minute drive into town. Loved the hot tub, and lots of wild life - don’t know if that’s the norm or we just got lucky! Lots of odds and ends available to guests in the event you forgot to pack something. Fireplace in the living room was barely a flicker, but not a huge deal for us. We splurged a bit on this property as there were plenty of lesser expensive options, but I was happy we did! Thanks and hope to be back one day!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We had a beautiful view of pikes peak from the hot tub on the deck and out the wall of windows in the living room. It was very well furnished which was so nice!! Our bed was very comfortable which was really nice!! It was just a few minutes to town. It was the best place we’ve stayed in vacation!

Our family absolutely loved this spacious and cozy home with fantastic views of Pike’s Peak. We enjoyed the hot tub, and porches, while watching the wildlife every day. It is the perfect distance from town and activities while being far enough away in the woods to enjoy all aspects of the Woodland Park area. Thanks again for sharing this lovely space.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It’s a rustic style cabin, spacious and with great views of Pike’s Peak from the deck! The cabin is well appointed with lots of extras—cooler, corn hole game, board games, DVDs. Enjoyed the hot tub at night (star gazing is good on the deck!) The washer and dryer has been upgraded from what you see in the pictures—which was great because I didn’t over pack! There are technically two king bed suites (one is in the walkout downstairs) which allows you to spread out. The loft is spacious with its own bathroom as well. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay!
