Absolutely loved the interior decorating of the room, especially the use of the brick and wood inside the rooms. The shower was extremely nice. The breakfast provided was very well done and the 24/7 access to the coffee and drinks was also a major perk. Best aspect for everything in this hotel was the reception staff. They were extremely welcoming and super helpful, making it one of the best stays at a hotel we've ever had and want to come back to it soon.

City Mills for the win!

I always enjoy staying at City Mills when visiting family. There were a few hiccups at check in, but management went above and beyond to make things right. The unique and beautiful property, the excellent onsite restaurant Millhouse Kitchen, and the friendliest and most professional staff anywhere (Michael, Peggy, Summer, Kiana)make a stay at City Mills a wonderful experience!

Beautiful Stay

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, complete with original and unique touches. I love the combination of the brick and metal decor giving a nod to the history of the building. My corner room overlooking the river was lovely!

The hotel itself is adorable through and through but our ro had some hair ties under the radio alarm which was found when we plugged our charges in and there was a bag from posh something just on the floor by the desk leg. My husband thinks the breakfast was low grade but it was said multiple times it their off season so we have hopes in stating again that it would be better.

Beautiful, quiet boutique hotel. The hot breakfast was a great addition. Please note that the classic king rooms do not include a mini fridge or nespresso machine as listed on Expedia. However, there is a coffee machine in the lobby and an ice machine on the 4th floor.

I would have rated 5 stars except for a couple of things. For being the most expensive hotel in the area, the breakfast was average at best. Also, there is no pool and the room we stayed had no furniture with drawers to store your clothes for a multi day stay. Hotel is visually stunning but it's located in an industrial area away from the main downtown attractions.
