My husband Peter and I are running our little local rental in the top floor of our house - called Cozy Haven. We welcome anyone who can settle with a simple and comfortable accommodation. Our rooms are small but open, bright and cozy with a wooden-burning stove and a vaulted ceiling.
Centrally located in Kastrup with in walking distance from the airport. Public transport on the opposite side of the street directly to the City Center, central station or the airport. The metro is close nearby also in walking distance.
The space in our compact cozy areas is divided into a room with a door, an open room with adjoining kitchenette (no cooking possible), a loft and a bathroom.
4 + 1 adults is a slightly tight, but possible with a bit of love. A family with children cozy, 4 or fewer optimal.
The room with the door has a small double bed (best suited for a couple in love) or an adult and a child. There is also a bed at the opposite end of the room, and a travel cot that can be folded out for the smallest. Here is a small table with room for three and a wood-burning stove free to use.
The open room can be screened off with a curtain against the kitchenette. It has a nice size single bed that easily can be extended to a double bed if desired. When the double bed is in use, be aware the shared space is significantly reduced.
You will find a smaller dining table with room for 5 including a Handy Sit for the baby, armchair, TV and a work corner with a writing desk and adjustable stool.
The kitchenette is an extension of the open room. Here is all the necessary service to be able to eat breakfast or take-away incl. a small fridge and microwave that can be used. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of cooking, but we got a good bakery, a butcher and grocery in the shopping center next door for breakfast, open-faced Danish sandwiches and other necessities.
The room with the door and the open room have a common ceiling fan between them, which means that the wall between the rooms is open at the top so that the air freely can circulate. It might seem slightly less private to some.
The stairs up in the open room give easy access to the small cozy loft (only 1m high) - it is cramped, but cozy. The bed is made of two nice mattresses where an adult (two adults who really love each other) or two children easy can have a den and sleep comfortably. From up there you enjoy the view across the load-bearing beams.
We offer coffee and tea that can be prepared on the small kettle + fresh milk in the fridge on arrival.
The entire floor has fast WiFi and each of the two rooms has an ethernet connection of 1000/1000 Mbps that can be accessed via USB-C throughout the rooms.
