What You See is What You Get
And what we go was the beautiful modern and clean beach home advertised in the listing. Homeowners were kind and responsive. The home had great amenities with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a large group. The area itself was way more remote than what we originally thought but the home was great!

FANTASTIC HOUSE! Care given to every detail
This property was perfect. Super fun to drive on the 4x4 beach to arrive at this lovely house. The house was fabulously appointed. The beds were comfortable and the linens good quality. Ample dishware and glasses. A/C set at comfortable temperature. Screened in porch. Nice lower level covered porch/hang-out area. The beach/fish-themed artwork in the house is cool, made from interesting items. And there are wild horses nearby to admire. Owner/property manager was awesome - sharing extremely helpful insights into driving on the beach and respecting the horses, making sure to keep your distance. We appreciated all the advice imparted. Only addition I thought could improve the property is a hammock!

Great House!
We've rented this house twice now, and we love it! Great location and has everything you need. We bring our dogs, so we love that it's slightly away from the water. They get to run around without us having to worry. We'll definitely rent again!

We loved staying at this house! It was extremely clean and a great location. I love how it had a bit of privacy and there were not neighbors right in your space! Perfect set up if your bringing your pup also!

Family beach eacape
From the adventurous beach drives to the beautiful obx beach and water, daily wild horse sightings and comfortable accommodations our family of 5 and two dogs had a great week. If your looking to escape crowds and relax and love the beach this is for you. The beach drives should not be taken lightly, appropriate vehicles a must!!

A Great Getaway
A great getaway. The bedrooms and living area met our needs perfectly. The horses even ran down the road in front of the house! If you get the outdoor shower and porch fans working - the beach experience could be even better.

We had such a great time. There was one small hiccup with power due to a storm. The owners jumped right in to get the issue resolved quickly. House was very clean and well stocked. The screened in front porch was a great place to drink coffee in the morning or cards and cocktails in the evening. There was also a lovely outdoor space to enjoy as well. I greatly appreciate being able to bring our furkids along with us. Don’t hesitate to book your stay!

Very late posting, but what a relaxing and amazing stay we had! The house was fantastic, exactly as shown on the site, had everything we needed for the week! We enjoyed wakimg up and having coffee on the big screened in porch! Definitely recommend! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Place for Family Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family of 5 to enjoy a week of relaxation. There are no paved roads, 4wd is required to reach the house. The house has everything you would need during your stay. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

OBX 4 WD Beach
Great location but will definitely need a four-wheel drive truck. Place is great and seeing the wildlife and especially the horses was fantastic. This home is terrific for large groups as well a small groups. Definitely will be back.

An amazing trip

This was the perfect getaway
This was the perfect getaway for me and my family. This house was full of all the amenities that you would need for your week stay. It was very quiet and only a short 5 min ride to the beach. The house was very clean and we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the kids loved the swing set. Would love to come back.

Beach get away
The property was located minutes from the breathtaking Corova beach. It was clean and well maintained, it had everything we needed for a weeks escape from reality. Owners were responsive to questions and very helpful. The screened in porch was the perfect location for bug free nightly card games. I highly recommend staying here!

Super relaxing week at Beachaholics. House was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. Communication with the owners was super easy. House had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, glasses, pots, etc.). Open floor concept made it easy to hang out together in the great room. Not on the beach but the ability to park on the beach was convenient. Just leave your sand stuff in the truck! Follow directions about airing down your tires and having a 4X4 and you will be fine. Getting into Corolla was easy once you get the hang of driving in the sand. Was a little humid our week so we did not get to enjoy the outside area at the house other than grilling out a few nights. If you want to unplug and enjoy nature for the week, this is your place.

A very frustrating trip
We were a family of 4 adults and a 2-month old baby. We have read the property description and all but i guess one would not fully understand how far it really is from the beach until you're there and have to drive to and from the beach each day. We only went out to eat once because it was so far off from the establishments. Otherwise all was good with the house.

It was an awesome experience overall. The house was amazing! Wild horses/ Beach everyday!!
The house was great! From the screened in porch to the swings/corn hole and grill there is a lot to do even if it rains. You drive right up to the beach, takes about 2 minutes and set camp for the day! There is lots of space on the beach between you and other people so it feels like a private beach. We brought two dogs with us as long as you kept them on a leash on the beach you’re good to go!! The drive to the house is an adventure, don’t worry you won’t die!! Just don’t forget to air down or your pockets will be down $400!!! If you need to get ice for your cooler there is a place two minutes down the road at the fire house. Needless to say the week was full of packed adventures and went to quickly. As we were packing up and leaving, mr. Ed came to visit us… he wanted to come very close to us and then explore the trashcan!! It was an awesome send off!! All I have to say is you guys will love the house and all The adventures that cone with it. We enjoyed it so much that we already booked another visit for September!! Enjoy!!
