Sea Pony Stay | Close to Beach

Find a relaxing gem in the middle of town. Perfectly located in “Old Town” this cottage offers convenience, serenity and comfort while you’re close to shops and local eateries. The beach is less than a mile away with the harbor a half mile. You can walk to both if you wanted!

Equipped with standard comforts for vacation, the kitchen is stocked and ready for meals at the table with seating for four.

The living room is ideal for family game night or a chance to relax! You’ll find a small love seat and twin day bed with a trundle in the seating area. There is a full bathroom with a walk in shower off of the living space.

The bedroom hosts a comfy queen mattress with patio access. You will also find a full bathroom with a walk in shower in the bedroom.

Disappointed
Very disappointed! One ac blew hot air while we were there so had to turn it off only had two big towels for shower 2 of the wash rags looked used had been wet and hung back up.. would have loved to used the porch more but the dumpster right out was horrible. Supposed to have cable and internet we had none!! Communicated and skirted about that! There wasn’t even a cable box or router!!

The property was much larger than expected and more comfortable than I expected as well. I feel like the cleaning crew needs a little help though. Stains on sheets is a little discouraging. Also, when leaving I pulled the sheets and found A sock from someone else. A few bugs in the place upon arrival. Just needs a better cleaning crew.

Our Stay
The house was nice and location was perfect, we had some problems getting checked in but the host was very attentive in fixing the issues and really went above and beyond. We were unable to get the TV to work in the room as well as the Wi-Fi but overall it was a good stay.

Location is great and very close to everything!! We always have a blast in Port A. The one thing that really ruined our four day stay was the bed in the bedroom, it was so hard I was ready to leave after day two cause of the back pain. Hope they get a better bed that doesn’t hurt your back so much.

Cute place
This little cottage was an excellent place to stay the weekend. It was a perfect size for a family. You walked onto the screened patio and then into a cute living room with a day bed that has a trundle. This is an open concept right into the kitchen with a stove, dishwasher and small 4 person table. There’s a bathroom in the main room with a walk in shower. Then you walk into a closed bedroom that has a queen bed and additional bathroom with walk in shower, you can exit the house from this room as well. We loved the area, it wasn’t right next to the beach but beach access is not very far. Loved this place and the property owner was so helpful! Only thing that could’ve made it better was a washer/dryer … but I didn’t want it to reflect on the property because this is just a personal preference. Overall a great experience… we hope to be staying here again!

Nicely remodeled cottage
Very clean and well kept property, includes all the necessities for a short stay. Probably not the place we'll rent for a month again, little short on furniture and dressers for a monthly stay. Property manager goes above and beyond to make your stay as best she can!

Overall had a nice visit, there was easy access to nearly everything on the island from this location. Didn't make use of the kitchenette, and noticed a leak in the master bathroom & notified the owner right away. They had it assessed & repaired the next day. So all in all a good spot for a quick getaway to the beach.

4th of July Beach Getaway
My family and I got away and had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Piny Cottage. It’s located in the middle of town right on Alister easy to get to the beach, restaurants, shops and to stroll around town. We love Port A and go at least twice a year definitely will be renting this cute cottage again!!

Perfect Little Weekend Getaway
Very close to restaurants, beaches, and stores. We absolutely loved the big screened in porch. The house was beautiful, clean, and convenient. And the host, Magen, checked in on us several times and was overly hospitable! Would definitely recommend staying at this quaint island cabin.

Unit was not ready.....
Here we go the good ole review. Well I myself do property management. First things. The title speaks for itself the unit was not ready. The wife and I showed up around 4:30. Had a 4pm check-in. Well we walked into a dirty and used unit.. was told the unit would be ready between 6-7pm had reservations with another couple to go eat at that time had to ask our friends to shower at their place not really what we wanted to do. Basically got left without a place for another 4 hours. Second. As soon as you walk in the AC sounds like it’s going to fall off the wall.. I work on AC’s so I took the time to check it out the blower motor is going out as it sounds like a 747 fixin to crash down.... the filter was not clean.. this place was far from clean.... third I’ve seen pictures of the soap and stuff the other renters got we did not receive anything as I didn’t bring body wash or shampoo cause well I usually use what’s on hand at a vrbo and saw I didn’t have to take any... not good. The accommodations were far beyond great or good. This place needs more work. Oh don’t forget the smell the whole compound is right behind a seafood market and the trash can they put all the old shrimp,crab etc gets thrown in and the compound is down wind so the whole place stinks of old rotten seafood. Again this place needs a improvement. However we will never stay at this establishment again. This is coming from someone that has grown up most of their childhood in PortA and I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here as the owner is not very responsive only using the app. Give your number so the tenants can contact you if the place has something wrong!!!! That’s my review

Clean and reasonably priced
This property was just as advertised. Good location and quick drive to beach access. Walking distance to some local shops and restaurants. Large screened in porch and plenty of space for a family of 4. Bathrooms are small but having two was a plus! Also having two designated parking spaces right outside front door was very convenient. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. Overall a great stay!
