The Ford House

Located one block from Old Town Main Street

This is the most romantic and elegant historically home in
Old Town Cottonwood. It is a duplex with Model A being in front.

This historic house, built in 1925 was recently remodeled
from top to bottom. Enjoy a charming old home but with
modern, luxurious amenities. The hardwood floors have
been brought back to their original beauty. The historically
decorated accents compliment the 1920's era.
The Bedroom has a king size bed with all the amenities of a
luxury boutique hotel. Spa quality Pima cotton sheets.

Bathroom have a walk in shower with two shower
heads and a stained glass window niche and
robes and toiletries will make you feel pampered.

The living room has a 58" Smart TV, 200 mg Wifi and
a romantic old fashioned fireplace for those cozy evenings.

A fully furnished kitchen has new retro-style appliances and
everything that you could need including a Keurig coffee maker.



There is free off street parking, a large front porch with
swing and mature shady trees.


A laundry room is available including an iron and full size
ironing board.

Just a short two minute walk to Old Town to enjoy gourmet
fine dining, wine tasting, live music and shopping.

Experience the old time Smelter town life but with a modern
flair.

Just a short 6 mile drive up to Jerome, the mining town built
on a mountain that started it all.

The beauty of Sedona and red rock is a short 20 mile drive.

Wonderful time
My husband and I stayed here and had an excellent stay! Steve and Denise are great hosts, friendly, and it is clear they love their place! We were walking distance to amazing restaurants as well as the verde river and trails. The home was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable and there was everything we needed in the home. We will absolutley return!

Very clean and comfortable
I was traveling alone and I felt safe at the Ford House. The history of the house was interesting; enjoyed the pics and stories in the welcome notebook. Bed was comfortable, over sized shower was fantastic and the house was immaciulate. Short walk around the corner to Old Town Cottonwood. Nice central location to visit the surrounding areas and still be back before dark.

Beautiful Home, Excellent Location!
This property deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! Its comfortable, clean and close to great restaurants, shopping, hiking. The personal touches and history of the house were outstanding! Having said that, I probably would not stay here again, unless I was renting all 4 units on the compound. We were alone during our stay, so it was a non-issue, but we didn't expect the outdoor spaces to be shared between 4 units, specifically, the fire pit. If you like the prospect of meeting other couples during your stay, you'll appreciate this property! (Its not my jam, but there are plenty of people who love that. I just wish it had been disclosed a little more predominately.) Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the craftmanship and care taken by the owners! Well done!

Upgraded, comfortable with all the amenities.
We went for a weekend getaway. The house was so cute and decorated well. Everything down to the shampoo, creme for your coffee, blankets for outside was available and convenient. Loved the swing and rocking chairs. Bathroom shower was large, clean and bright white. Even had robes. Set off smoke detector when I was cooking. No fan in the kitchen or on the oven. Only downside. So close to shopping and good restaurants. Walked everywhere.

Comfortable stay in Cottonwood, AZ
The Ford House was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Cottonwood and the surrounding area. It is comfortable, quiet, and an easy walk to historic Main Street. The kitchen has everything you need, and onsite laundry very convenient after a trip on the Verde River. The historic photos and memorabilia make it an extra special place!

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Ford house. It's been our favorite VRBO. Excellent location and charm. Only 1 block from Main Street with all the cool shops, restaurants and bars. Great walking trail to the Verde river. Steve and Denise remodeled this home with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom is fantastic, the couch is super comfortable, etc. We highly recommend staying in this home to experience that old town charm and comfort that is not easy to find nowadays.

The house is a beautiful historic house, only two blocks from Downtown Cottonwood. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located just a short distance from downtown, wineries, Sedona and Jerome. We truly enjoyed everything about the stay. We will return as our experience was VERY memorable! Thanks!

Location, location, location!
Our stay at the Ford House was amazing from start to finish! This home is beautiful and could not have been any cleaner. The pictures don’t do it justice. The walk into old town was less than five minutes. Our hosts Steve and Denise were a wealth of knowledge and information; not only about the property’s history but the town as well. We highly recommend to anyone who likes a nice, roomy country house feel with fantastic hosts and only a couple of blocks from amazing restaurants and shops.

Great location; EV charger, Clean and adorable
We loved the location, a block from the main street, close to restaurants, shops and a trail by the river. Four free EV chargers are 500 ft from the house. It felt safe and secure. The remodel was done very recently (surfaces in the kitchen and two bathrooms are immaculately clean and look brand new) in a manner that respected the house’s history. The towels smelled fresh and clean. The kitchen has a Keurig, coffee, tea, creamer and every appliance we could have needed. Hosts were prompt to respond to questions. Highly recommend this gem in neighborhood of similarly well-kept homes.

More than expected
I’m not sure if my words can adequately describe how nice this property was. There are actually 3 separate units on this double size lot property. 2 historical houses with 2 bed/2 bath and a newly built “Stable Masters quarters”. We were lucky enough to see Denise when she was checking on the other 2 units before folks arrived that afternoon. She gave us a quick tour of them both and quick history lesson. All 3 of these properties are extremely well done. They have all the amenities you would need while keeping them looking nostalgic. We definitely recommend for anybody visiting Cottonwood. Their communication prior and during our stay was excellent. Can’t wait to return and stay in one of the other units. Thank you!!

Wonderful. Thoughtfully appointed with everything you need, from paper towels to umbrellas in a stand by the front door. We found ourselves repeatedly saying, “Look, they even thought of this!” Immediately welcoming when you enter, with two huge bedrooms and bathrooms.
