Pictures taken before shoddy remodeling
I travel frequently and have never written a negative review but want to save another renter from a bad experience. Since these pictures were taken, the kitchen has been cut in half with bunk beds and a separating wall. The remodeling is very shoddy. One emergency sprinkler is now tucked tightly in the corner between the new wall and the kitchen wall, and the other one is in the shower. I have concerns as to its effectiveness in the event of a fire. This is concerning because there are multiple electrical cords running everywhere along the floors in both rooms. Some of them are taped down but most are not. One of the outlets next to the bed was loose and didn't work. The fan provided sparked when we plugged it into another outlet. The balcony was unusable as it was covered in layers of dust, had huge boxes stored on it as well a pole lamp without a bulb or shade. A hammock and other items were laying on the floor as well as pieces of wood from the remodeling. There are sections of cabinetry that have been partially covered up by the remodeling (?) ... One of these may be the pull-down table referenced because we couldn't find one. We called the contact number listed, and the first rep said they'd call back (but didn't) and the second time we called the line disconnected. We tried using the QR code provided at the condo which resulted in, "Website not found." The only positive comment I can make is that the condo was very clean.
