This is a good hotel if you like to be close to the beach... The aera is rather quiet (in a good way), enough restaurants and stores for your needs but to visit the main area for bars and restaurants you will need a short taxi ride. Rooms are ok, especially if you get the upgrade... Nice people too. The only thing to improve is the breakfast especially the food for westerners. It's mainly asian stuff. Which makes sense I guess...

Great value and good location!
It was a great value for a hotel. There was some loud construction nearby, but the hotel is quite close to the beach. Also, the breakfast buffet was fantastic. You definitely get more than your money's worth.

Nice but can be further improve.
Was staying here for 2 days however fallen sick upon arrival and didn't get much chance to experience a lot in the area. The hotel overall is ok but there are rooms for improvement. Complimentary breakfast given where the food really taste bad. Great improvement will be required on that. In addition, we requested to change the bed sheet however house keeping seemed to ignore it. Bath room lighting was too deemed and the dustbins within the room are full of rust. Location wise, it's just around 2 blocks away from the sea and we get very nice seaview. Lots of restaurants around the area for food.

Great hotel near the beach
This was our last night of vacation, and we wanted to be near the airport (10 minutes) and a beach (2 blocks). Great last stay! The 8th floor room was very nice, clean, modern, and well supplied. Cozy, but functional. The most toiletries and stocked food I have seen anywhere. AC was excellent, bed and pillows were soft (in comparison to most beds in Vietnam). Ocean view out a huge wall window was great. 2 layers of curtains. Hotel Breakfast Buffet in a large windowed, beach view room. Best breakfast we had - hot, fresh, flavorful. Mostly Vietnamese, and eggs to order, and nice glazed buns. 3 minute walk around corner and across street to a beautiful white sandy beach. Shower pavillion right there. Grassy walks above beach. Beach extends a long way in both directions, though swimming area with life guards is limited. Can rent chairs for 30,000 VND ($1.50) each for long as you like. Swam in the evening - rough waves, and in the early morning -delightful! Fishermen in round basket boats are there too. Not sure if some places give you rides in these boats. Restaurant on beach side are very expensive. Local eating establishments on street side are cheaper, but little English translation. Ended up eating dinner at Tranquellos (3 minute cab ride south) - excellent!! Although some of the neighboring area is under construction, the entrance to the hotel is lovely. The area feels reasonably safe -though it is not a shopping or restaurant district - yet.

The staff at SunDC, especially Thao were wonderful, cheerful and great fun. They also possess a deep knowledge of Da Nang. We found the directions that were given to us to be very accurate and the advice on what to do very helpful. I would stay at SunDC again in a heartbeat.

Location to beach is wonderful!
We've stayed at SunDC 2 different times. At first we were impressed as it was very new looking. But the longer we stayed the more "little things" happened. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view of Me Kye Beach from our window. The breakfast is included but not up to expectations for a 3 star hotel. The table cloths were very dirty every time we went there which was 4 times. They don't even serve baguette with it. But the breakfast room on the 10th floor gives you a lovely view of the ocean. At the discounted rate we got the room for, it was okay. I would not want to pay full fare.

Nice stay at SunDC
My deluxe seaview room was very pleasant, with an excellent seaview. The room was clean modern and well furnished, and the shower had a good supply of hot water. The hotel is in an area of new tourist development, perfect for a relaxed beach holiday. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

Potentailly a good hotel during summer, but not good in the winter. Not great place to stay if your a traveler, but its probably a good place for local business people. The staff were polite, but not overly helpful.

We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed it for the most part. Nice to be away from the main part of Da Nang, but you will need ear plugs if you stay here - construction goes very late and there is a lot of it in the area. The staff are lovely, but some things get lost in translation - I would definitely suggest NOT GETTING ANYTHING DRY-CLEANED! I had three silk dresses that were very expensive ruined as they weren't dry cleaned properly (or possible hand washed). The room was clean and had a great view. Breakfast wasn't very good. They have scooters for hire which was a great way to travel around Da Nang.

왜 호텔스 닷컴에서 예약하고 이미 결제도 했는데, 익스피디아에서 예약되어있다고하는지도 모르겠고, 체크아웃할때, 현지 결제하라해서 이중결제 아니냐고 물어도 아니라고 우기길래 비행시간 다되서 비용 지불했는데 아니나 다를까 한국들어와보니 카드는 카드대로 결제되었네요. 예약 관리랑 결제 관리가 엉망이네요..
