Quiet high-end cottage surrounded by mature trees and picturesque pastures on a completely private farm. Yet, you are minutes from grocery stores and shopping and walking distance to a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Beautifully furnished private stone home with a large cook’s kitchen, laundry room, comfortable living room with two couches, dining space, dedicated work space, separate well-appointed bedroom with gorgeous outside views from your bed, full bath with brand-new fixtures including a large walk-in shower. The cottage has loads of natural light from the many large wood windows where bobcat, coyote, bunnies, peacocks, and farm animals often wander by.
You have access to an acre of outdoor dining and relaxing areas.
Included with you stay are complementary fresh eggs and honey both produced on the farm.

Best stay in all of Dallas!!
It's in the perfect location - close to food shopping and entertainment but you feel off the grid. It's so clean and comfortable too. I've never felt so comfortable at a rental in all my travels. Owners were so gracious and responsive. I'll 100% stay here again!

Wonderful Experience
Our stay on the property was nothing short of spectacular. We were met with true Texas hospitality. My children were greeted at a fence line of sheep and goats. The property owner and his dog greeted us with bread to feed the animals. My children were able to run around, pet the horses. It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend visiting this property!

The experience at this cottage was amazing. Plenty of beautiful nature, goats, horses, bunnies, and a very well taken care of yard. The house itself was very cozy and well tooled care of, the interior got even more beautiful the more u looked at it.

A Little Slice of Heaven
You'll reach Bob White Cottage and find yourself right at home. I stayed here for a weekend getaway with a friend this December. We couldn't have asked for a better escape. The house was pristine and well stocked with the basics. Eggs and honey from the farm were made available in the kitchen, and when we took our hosts up on the offer of a barn tour, we were provided with even more. Smores kits and dry firewood were ready for us in the firepit outside. (And if you're into birding, I'm pleased to tell you even at the end of migrating season there's a shockingly large variety of birds on sight, including three types of woodpeckers and two types of kinglets.) Our sincerest thanks to our hosts, who were incredibly helpful and hospitable with every interaction we had. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone already considering it.

Quaint cottage with all the details.
Had a small issue with check-in but host was able to resolve it quickly. The cottage was a great size, had all the essentials plus the most thoughtful extras like smores, hot chocolate, eggs, games, and all the high quality pillows and linens you could desire! We really enjoyed the location- you were in close proximity to groceries, shopping, restaurants, literally anything you could want. Overall very great experience and great place to stay.

An Oasis
You never expected to find such a gem as you are driving in a very suburban and populated area. As you approach the property it turns into an unpaved road and open land and fenced in animals appear. The cottage has been restored to where modern meets rustic. The back porch gives you a relaxing view of the grazing gosts. In the field next to the cottage I got to pet a horse. The nice touches were the farm fresh eggs and coffee and water in the fridge. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in the metro area.

Totally unexpected little respite in the city!
Wish we actually could have been there longer. We were just there for a night before flying out of DFW. Even our Uber driver that dropped us off thought it was super cool where it was. Kind of fun to also hear the crowd of a Friday night high school football game from the house. Loved the eggs and honey too. And the bunnies everywhere.

Better than Great!
This cottage is on a farm in the middle of the city. Location is 5 ⭐️- the cottage is redone and couldn’t be cuter! Well stocked in the kitchen - even with fresh eggs and fresh honey. The hosts gave us a barn tour - we met the chickens and the goats! Buy carrots - the animals love to be fed! John and Janvier are the perfect hosts. We will go back on our way through Dallas. Tons of great things to do and restaurants in Fower Mound and Grapevine. Cannot say enough about this place! Highly recommend!

Such a Gem
This little cottage is truly a gem in the middle of the city. We loved everything about the place. The horse came to visit us in the evening, the rooster greeted us in the morning. You literally turn down a dirt road off a busy city thoroughfare, but as you go down the drive, you loose all sense of being in the middle of the city. We LOVE it and will stay again when we are in Dallas. It is also super close to the airport and Grapevine, the main reason we chose this location.
