Not a hidden gem
Great hotel and area. Unfortunately, the hotel room had some concerns: Clogged tub, low pressure water. Loud drilling noise from a neighboring room. TV channels and WiFi not always working. When I asked the hotel front desk, they waived it off. They offered to give me a different room, I declined because I had already unpacked and settled in. Overall, nice place but will never book again. Additionally, the hotel attendants were not the friendliest. This included a gal named Lindsey and a tall gentleman (didn’t get his name). Very “upity” with their attitude. It didn’t feel comfortable to ask them questions about local eateries or places to get a drink. I thought about asking for a manager call back, but just not worth the time. Zero customer service… #dissappointed

There was an issues with the room we stayed in, I had 2 issues one with the thermostat and one with the shower, the shower issue was my fault, but I highly believe there is an issue with the thermostat in room 922. We checked in the room was very very cold, we tried to turn the thermostat up and the screen did not respond it lit up dimmed displayed thermostat brand went dark. We managed to get it them temp reasonable with the issues we where having

Room was good. Ac sometimes turned off by itself. We would have a little trouble turning it off/on to stay on. But after a little tinkering we got it. My only complaint, which is just a personal preference, the pillows were way too soft. Nothing the hotel can really do. Just forwarning to anyone who needs a more supportive pillow, bring your own.

Great staff, less than stellar property
The property needs some upkeep when you first pull in. There were puddles with litter right in the front parking lot. The front desk staff was lovely and helpful and asked if we preferred a high or low floor, pool or city view. The first room we checked into reeked of smoke and a perfume we assume was an attempt to cover the smell. We went back downstairs and they apologized and quickly gave us another room which was just fine. The second room felt clean, albeit small. The bathroom was tiny and the “closet” by the front door, which contained the safe and the luggage rack, wasn’t truly a closet and was more like a mirrored bathroom tub panel. Overall the stay was uneventful but would probably not stay again.

There are better choices.
The room was pretty outdated and small. The double beds are small one person can fit their legs around both side of the beds. The beds were comfortable just small. The view was blocked by a piece of the building in the middle of the window. The restroom was old and very small you can’t get dressed in it. The toilet will flush like a public restroom and the shower head was coming off the wall. The neighbors were also very loud. Overall not worth the price. There are better options.
