Enjoy all that the area offers in this 3-bedroom farmhouse. This adorable property offers a cozy retreat for guests. With 1 full bed, 1 king bed, and 1 twin bed, and a large living room with TV, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The farmhouse features modern amenities such as WiFi, and a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers. Situated between Elk Mountain and Montage Mountain, close to many golf courses and Hurricane Hills Sports Center and just minutes from the Lackawanna State Park, this fully renovated but still charming farmhouse is a great find for sports enthusiasts. Endless Mountain Hot Air Balloons flies from this area. You can book at weflyhotair.com. The home is located on an improved farm road. Please be advised that depending on the time of year, road maybe muddy or dusty. This home has no air conditioning but most nights in summer are cool.

Warm and cozy
This renovated farm house has all the modern conveniences yet maintains it's rustic charm. There is plenty of room to relax and recharge after a day of activity. The beds are inviting and cozy with lovely flannel sheets in winter. The kitchen boasts new appliances , but if cooking isn't your thing there are several nearby restaurants. This property was perfect for our family getaway to.

Worked really nice for our post skiing day at Elk Mountain. Cozy, clean and comfortable! Didn't have time to explore the immediate area but looks like there's some great hiking and fishing nearby. Nice history provided by owner about the property. Definitely recommend for any type of getaway.

The best stay for years
We are very happy to stay in this nice farmhouse during Christmas time! Conditions are excellent like in high level hotel. Good quality bedding/linings, clean kitchen equipment, amazing selection of coffee cups (surprise!). Everything is very clean. Location is great close to 2 skiing areas and at the same time to Scranton. Thank you Lynn and Mark!

We had an outstanding stay! The Farmhouse has been lovingly restored with modern touches while maintaining its original farmhouse character. The house was clean and comfortable. We visited the weekend after Christmas, and the Christmas tree and other decorations made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here again.

Home away from home!
Our family of three (2 adults and a 7yo) had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse! it seemed like Lynn and Mark thought of every detail, and from the moment we arrived at the house (which was so nicely decorated for Christmas!) we felt right at home. We arrived on a snowy afternoon, and in the morning we found the walkway shoveled and the driveway plowed. I really can’t say enough good things and really hope we get to stay there again soon!

Beautiful and relaxing
This historic, rural farmhouse was perfect for our family stay. Each room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans and dishes to prepare and eat meals. We liked the large living room area and the spacious screened in back porch to sit and visit with family that we hadn't seen in awhile. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing, quiet stay located close to Lackawanna State Park.

We stayed at the house for a nearby wedding; it was perfect for our group of 5. Comfortable beds, newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen, unique, quaint and very clean. 19th century house has steep stairs to the 2nd floor & sits on a rural gravel road. Very private & quiet. 👍👍

The best vacation house we ever stayed in
We (four adults) stayed for a weekend. The house was amazing. It was very well equipped, beautiful and pleasant, very clean, and very comfortable. The owners were super friendly and communicative. Country retreat in the Poconos
Our family enjoyed our stay at the property. The farmhouse was roomy enough for all of us, and we enjoyed being close enough to Scranton to see some of the sights, but far enough away from the city to enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Getaway
Our family (including 2 young kids and a teenager) had a wonderful stay at this peaceful getaway. Beautiful and very quiet location with only a few cars passing by over the entire 3 days we were there. Comfortable beds, clean house, including bathrooms and kitchen. Our kids especially appreciated the cozy sunroom and large fields to run around in. Lynn was very nice, easy to work with, and responsive. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

Old Farmhouse
It's old so it's somewhat small and slightly crooked, but very clean. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The owners did a nice job of remodeling. Rural, on a quiet dirt road but 10 - 15 mins from stores. The property is incredibly nice and the owners aren't far off if you need anything. There was a mother/baby deer wandering the property and some turkeys as well. Overall it was a fantastic stay, thanks again.
