Get some real AC

Third floor room, hotter than HOT 🔥 AC did next to nothing, couldn’t sleep in that heat and it made me nauseous. Room is worn out and beat, carpet not vacuumed well. Cracked window with seal flapping in the breeze. I do NOT recommend this hotel!!

Ok for one night

Hotel needs to be cleaned and updated hot water did not work very well. Air conditioning did not work and had to be moved to a different room. Service was unhelpful no pool no coffee no refreshments no breakfast but it was very quiet if you need a place to stay for one night it’s OK if you need a place to stay for a long while I would not recommend this

horrible experience

Avoid this hotel. I booked through hotels.com based on their recommendation, but the room was dirty and not serviced. When I requested a new room, the thermostat was broken and it was uncomfortably hot. The pillows were flat, and the bed was poorly made. When I asked for a refund, the staff directed me to the general manager rather than helping me. This experience was unprofessional, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The receptionist at the front was pleasant and very helpful. When we got the keys to the room it was hot, the toliet was clogged and there was no shower curtain BUT once we talked to the receptionist he did his best to find us a room that had air conditioning, a functional toliet and a shower curtain.

The A/C and microwave in the room did not work. They replaced the microwave but never fixed the A/C. Luckily it was cool out in the evening. There was food left in the fridge and the tub filled with water when showering.

Most of the staff was rude and not helpful. TVs were not working in room, and staff reluctantly came up 1st everning and finally got one TV working. The other in the sitting area was never resolved. There is not breakfast at the hotel and TVs are not flat screen as described. On last day at hotel, asked for the room to be serviced or at least to get clean towels. Neither was done, and when asked the hotel staff that evening for a set of towels they said the maids had left and he didn't have access to towels.

Once inside it looks like a hotel. But from outside not so much. Room was nice and quiet. Hot water was nice and hot. Good work. In room coffee maker but no package of caffeinated provided. Lighting in bathroom is dull. Was not told ahead of time about garage on lower floor. Convenient. But needs a clean up . I would try Maron Hotel again!

I was charged twice for a one night stay - got texts from my credit card company when we checked in at 10:30 pm. Decided to wait til morning to talk to the front desk. I was assured that both charges would not go through and that they were just pending. I asked for a credit for one of the charges but the desk clerk would not refund my credit card for the extra charge. Well, both charges were posted on my credit card and I’m now disputing with my credit card company. Disappointed because I tried to get the issue addressed while on property - showed them the texts from my credit card company and also showed them the charges within my credit card app. Didn’t help. I better win the dispute or I’ve been totally ripped off by this hotel.

other than check in, no one ever greeted us coming or going, overall poor communication. The website shows Vivo as a nice restaurant on site - it is not open. Fortunately there are several good restaurants close by. The rooms were not cleaned; towels not replaced, trash not picked up until we asked, and when they finally did come they made the bed but removed the comforter and left only a heavy top sheet. Most of the time we were there we were outnumbered by staff, but you'd never know it. They didnt greet us coming or going, didnt seem to do much about taking care of the rooms. It seems like the hotel is on its last leg. I would exhaust all other options before staying here. The location was good for where we wanted to be.

You get what you pay for. No breakfast. The windows are paper thin, and you will hear every car that passes the building, especially on the back side, next to the highway. There was, what appeared to be a heated, argument between staff and guests/staff members, that only paused when I checked in. There was hair all over the bathroom, it looks like the mop was just used to spread the dirt evenly on the floor. I wish I had more time to read the reviews, I booked the hotel in a rush. Overall a disappointing experience, I left a day earlier. I won't ever spend a dollar there again.

Worst hotel experience in years

I chose this hotel because it was close to my business meeting the next day, and because it claimed to have a restaurant (the weather was cold, had a long drive, and I just wanted to settle without having to leave the premises. So, first thing I found on checking in was there is no restaurant. The desk clerk (a pleasant young man) told me that the place is being renovated. I replied, "Well, then it shouldn't say you have a restaurant on your listing." His response was, "We keep telling the management that." Resigned to the need to leave the hotel to eat, I went to my room, unpacked, then walked into the bathroom to discover it had not been cleaned - wet towels on the floor, and so on. Went to the desk and asked for a new room. Nice young man quickly complied and put me in a better room - a suite, with two televisions. Which was kind of nice, except neither television was working. Nor was the internet. Nor, as it turned out in the morning, was the coffeemaker. Ditto the hot water! The building itself was beautiful and has a lot of potential. But overall my stay was more like being in a Motel 6 - except in one of those I would probably at least have gotten hot water!
