New on our rental program, this breathtaking beach house lends its versatility to an array of needs with a King in the Master, two twins in 2nd bedroom, Queen in 3rd bedroom, and the utilitarian full sleeper and twin trundle downstairs. Ample counterspace in all three bathrooms-- Master Bath offers stand shower with seating, 2nd Bath has shower/tub combo, and a stand shower provided in the full bath that accompanies the 4th bedroom on the ground floor. Kitchen has all essentials including both Keurig and standard coffee pot. Universal charger provided for your convenience. Even on rainy days, bring the family together with the owner's selection of board games and puzzles. Outdoor living space offers more than the average rental house--wrap-around porch with exquisite dune views has screened-in portion, including screen underfoot to more thoroughly keep bugs at bay. Under the house you will find such amenities as outdoor shower with hot/cold options, propane grill, hammock, and ping pong. Inside the home, cascades of natural lighting fill the spacious open floor plan, warm earthy, neutral, and teal tones. Naturescaping blends seamlessly into the surrounding area, designated as a haven for migrating birds and nesting sea turtles. Gated Community of Desoto Landing amenities include beachside pool with cabana, tennis court, children's recreation area, bike racks and beautiful private beach.

Additional Charges: Cleaning fee, 11% lodging tax, non-refundable reservation fee and damage waiver, optional travel insurance.

We had 6 adults, 3 kids; 16, 12, & 5. The screened in deck was not clean: tables sticky, crackers and wrappers on ground and the windows and door out to screened in porch were extremely dirty. Happy there was a vacuum and I cleaned it up & wiped windows. Bedrooms had Cheetos under beds. Several pans, dishes and silverware were put away dirty. Queen bed needs new mattress as it is very worn and not comfortable. We would suggest providing a few additional supplies for renters renting multiple weeks. We stayed two weeks and the property manager was very nice and gave us some additional tp, paper towel, laundry soap, & dishwasher soap. We bought our own extras and cleaning supplies and we left a supply as well. :-) It was a lovely house, we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again, The property management team was very nice and understanding.

Yearly beach escape
The house was nice, and it fit our family of 5 perfectly. We had plenty of room if our extended family had joined us, too. The gas grill needed cleaning before the first use, but that was an easy fix. We would definitely stay here again!

We'll Stay here again
This is a great house. It's clean and comfortable and plenty of space for a big group. We loved the screened-in portion of the enormous deck. If you plan to cook several nights, the kitchen is fully and neatly stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, and silverware. Neighborhood is quiet and perfectly located close to the main drag of the island. The beach and pool is an easy short walk from the house. I ❤️ this house. If we make DI a yearly beach stop, I will definitely try to secure this house again.

October beach getaway
This property was absolutely perfect for enjoying all the wonderful things about Dauphin Island. It is a short walk to the beach on the Gulf side. The large back deck looks out to native trees, plants and sandy terrain. There were plenty of chairs to enjoy the fully screened in porch. Decor is simple and serene. We will definitely book this property again for future visits.

Great Spring Break location.
The house is perfect and really well furnished. The only issue is the dryer. They furnish plenty of towels but it took way too much time to dry them. The walk to the beach and the pool was fine but might be rather far in the hot summer. The private beach is wonderful and not at all crowded. The gated community made it perfect for the children to to ride bikes unsupervised. Everyone we meet there was friendly.

Enjoyed our time on the beach.
The house is in a gated community which is nice. The house was very hot when we arrived. The rules state not to put the thermostat below 75 because it would freeze up the unit. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. The master bedroom needs a mirror and the TV was too small. It is newly renovated however the shower doors should've been replaced too. The kitchen table was small and the chairs were not comfortable...maybe add some cushions. The dishwasher is very old and outdated as well as the stove. The skillets need replaced, they were awful. The screened in porch was very nice but the furniture needs replaced also. The listing states there is a golf kart to use which apparently "might be available", upon arrival was told the golf cart had broken down and the owner got rid of it. If that is the case then the listing should be updated with that info removed...was very disappointed and that was the main reason I booked this house. There is a beach wagon though. Another thing is having to start the dishwasher, a load of towels and take out the trash before we checked out was frustrating. I understand the trash and starting the dishwasher but the laundry too!? It was just too much especially with check out before 10am.

Excellent beach house
We loved staying at the Hidden Dunes beach house. The view of the dunes off the back deck and short walk to the beach were perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our time on Dauphin Island. The house was perfect for our family...the cart provided for beach supplies was nice too. Would highly recommend!

Grandma, two grown daughters plus 3 granddaughters. Great house for a group! Clean, safe and private. Short walk to the beach. Enough local restaurants and grocery stores to please everyone.

Great experience and location!
Great place to stay, with plenty of room. Easy walk to pool and beach. The only thing is if you are planning on using kitchen the knifes are not sharp so bring you some and the kitchen trash can is too small. Other than that I would stay here again.

Fun family time
We had a great stay. Plenty of room for the two families. House was very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Rented bikes for the teenagers, the area and island was very safe to let kids mill about. We had one service call and it was taken care of within hours (on a Saturday evening!!) we did pick one of the hottest weeks to visit. Bring a wagon to cart stuff to beach…..it’s a hot walk. 😅

Wonderful!!
We absolutely loved our stay at this home!! The main floor was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch. We also loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the beach. We specifically needed to be able to visit a beach that wasn't busy due to the pandemic and our ten-year-old's extremely fragile health. This ended up being the perfect spot! We typically vacation in an area of Florida that has become too crowded and we knew there was no way our son would be safe there during a pandemic. So, we decided to visit Dauphin Island. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back! We loved this house and neighborhood! I also appreciated the great communication with the property manager before the trip! Wonderful!

Great house in a great location...perfect for 2 families with kiddos!
This house was really clean and updated with great deck space and plenty of property space for outdoor playtime. There was a golf cart and a ping pong table... plus, it was a very short walk to the tennis courts, the pool, and the beach. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this location!

Family vacation
We wasn’t for sure really what to expect seeing how it was our first time using VRBO. We had two adults and two of our adult kids as well as two teen age boys to try and appeal too. Definitely exceeded our expectations. The house was so beautiful and so clean. The house had everything we needed. Private beach, swimming pool, tennis all within a very short walk. The whole island is amazing. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setup. We had an amazing and very relaxing time. Definitely would love to come back.

Awesome House and Location
This property is top notch. The owners have done an excellent job with the up keep of this property and the management company is easy and helpful to work with. The house is very large and accommodating. There are three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs and one downstairs. All with comfortable beds and linens/pillows. There are three TVs with Dish. There is also WiFi. The kitchen is great for cooking. The decks are awesome for star gazing and sunsets. The community is quiet and the house is tucked back. It’s very nice. The walk to the beach and pool/tennis court is super quick and easy- even if carrying chairs and beach stuff. Maybe 5 minutes door to sand. No big deal. The community is private and gated. The beach is nice too. Soft white sand. The island itself is super laid back and accessible by bike. We rented bikes and explored Fort Gaines, a large playground, the shops and restaurants, et cetera. The island is bike friendly. We got take out at Real Deal barbecue, there is a package store and small grocery on the island, a place that sells seas food, et cetera. The grocery has what you need but I would recommend getting groceries in Mobile. We would definitely come back to this island, this house and would recommend the owner and rental company.
