We were very displeased with your rental. The elevator and the 5th floor smelled like marijuana and had very dirty carpet. As we entered your place, it was very cluttered with personal things of yours we believe. We saw old shoes, old-dated writings on paper posted everywhere, the beds had dated covers on them. The carpet was stained in the master bedroom by the wooden dresser. When my husband and I went downstairs to speak to the on site manager-he stated that your home was not through the rental program that they offer and that we would have to go through you guys and Vrbo. Our first instinct was to find another satisfactory place to stay. We did not want to ruin our vacation.
Unfortunately, with the building in this condition and my husband and I allergies, we told the on-site manager- a guy that we were leaving to find something else that was satisfactory. There is nothing, anyone or anything could’ve done to make us stay.
Because of my allergies, and with the smell of marijuana and other fumes in the building, I was unable to go back to Your place to take necessary pics. I do believe that I have provided you with enough personal information that was listed on your Vrbo entry.

-two dirty, unmatched hand towels by the tub (one was brownish, the other was off white
-a lot of used bags in the master bedroom hanging up on the wall-we would've expected things to be a lot neater, uncluttered, and personal items put away

Best practices would’ve been to refund a portion of the cost since we were not able
To stay here. We were not trying to scam anyone, we would’ve liked for the owners to rectify the situation and honor our refund due to unsatisfactory conditions. I have provided the owners with a copy of our receipt from the Hilton. It is evident that we were not able to stay at this place.
