We are offering a beautiful private efficiency apartment for rent in our home. This efficiency has its own private entrance, bathroom, and its own patio/deck with a beautiful lake view. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and small dining table. It’s part of the downstairs of a two story home, and we live in the upstairs. Our first floor efficiency is independent from the rest of the house making it very private. This Old Florida style waterfront home is located within walking distance to Deleon Springs State Park. The Old Spanish Sugar Mill is the perfect spot to get away, relax, and enjoy the undisturbed Florida waterways. Our home is located in front of Spring Garden Lake, where every day provides beautiful views of the sunset that can be contemplated from the patio of the house. This land has been preserved by the Lennon family for generations. Our son, Triston Lennon is the fifth generation native to this area.
Our house has two levels. The first floor contains the rental and large 6 car garage. The rental is composed of one bedroom and one bath featuring a super comfy king size bed, jacuzzi tub, and walk-in shower. We want to encourage our guests to enjoy the 40’ x 12’ private patio/deck area at sunset or take one of our canoes for a short paddle ride up to the spring to see the small waterfall. We love our life in Deleon Springs, we love nature, the environment and our family's history. The bedroom is decorated with an abundance of items depicting the rich history of the area. We also have available for our guests the park pass and two adults bicycles. 🚴 🚴 🚴

Perfect stay for the Deleon Springs and Deland
Our first time to the area, heard so much about Deleon Springs. The room was absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. Met our host Garrett on first night, had a very pleasant and informative conversation and learned so much about the area, the Springs and the local town. Deland is definitely a hidden gem with so many shops and unique restaurants. Went to the Springs the next day using our bikes and the host-provided park-pass and swam around in the chilly, but very clear, Spring. Was hoping to see the sunset over the lake we have heard so much about, but it was overcast in the evening. We would absolutely come back again.

This property was perfect in every way! The location is was exactly what we were looking for, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Perfect home base in paradise
This gorgeous efficiency suite was the perfect and comfortable space to come home to every evening after exploring the surrounding area. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The property is so lovely with deer passing by every morning. A great patio to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the lake. Great state parks in the area with hot spri gs for swimming and manatees! Deland is a gorgeous town to visit just a short drive.We hope to come back next year. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay perfect.

Peaceful Stay
I was very pleased with the accommodations. My father passed away and had to find a place to stay while we met with attorneys and got his affairs in order. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway and will be booking again in the future.

Quiet & Old Florida
We had a wonderful stay at Marilene & Garrett’s place. The description of the private efficiency is spot on! The privacy of the room, and also the location! It was just what we were looking - peace, quiet, & Old Florida. Marilene & Garrett were GREAT hosts & responsive. We spent the majority of the day at different parks & then in the evening headed downtown for dinner. Parks right down the street… *DeLeon Springs State Park *Chuck Lennon Park Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge about 5-10 minutes away Blue Springs State Park 25-30 minutes away

Beautiful Setting!
We here in DeLeon Springs for a quick stay. The efficiency was secluded, clean and delightful! The live oaks are simply amazing! We sat out on the porch in the evening with a glass of wine and a book and watched the sunset. Small fridge and microwave was all we needed and having the paper plates and utensils was much appreciated. Host also provided a pass to Florida State Parks which was super thoughtful and my daughter and I loved visiting the DeLeon Springs just around the corner. Lovely stay! Thanks so much!
