Lovely spot, with lots of character! A throwback! Lively antiques and knickknacks! We were upgraded to a spacious cozy suite!
It is a 20 minute drive to restaurants!
I found this little gem near St. Andrews. Very nice place to stay. Quiet. Staff are excellent. We liked it so much, we booked another night. We will definitely be coming back.
This was a great place to stay for our 1 night but also looks amazing for larger events. Great space! I wished the mattress was better-- firmer -- great place to stay!
An absolute gem. Perfect place for a romantic get away. The property was hosting a wedding and it didn’t interfere or disrupt our privacy at all. The only thing that I wasn’t aware of at the time of booking was how remote it is. They do not have any restaurants within a 15-20 drive. They do however have a BBQ for guests to use, I’ll be better prepared next time because we will definitely be visiting again. We especially loved the out door hot tub, tucked away in a private setting. Don’t forget to ask about the history of the place, I was happily surprised and shocked to learn about the history. Very very pleased with the cabin, perfect atmosphere for romance and relaxation.
What a beautiful setting for this boutique hotel. It is up a road and among trees, landscaped for outdoor seating to enjoy the setting, and Grace, the golden retriever, greats guests with a tail wag. We were in the Curtis room in the Manor House and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable, there was a sitting area with a TV, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Michael, the owner, and Glenna, his assistant, made us feel so welcomed and gave so much information about the area and what to see and do. The room was spotless. The included breakfast was also very tasty. What a find and we would definitely stay here again.

Unique experience for us.
My husband and I needed a getaway. I booked on line and we headed down to a place neither of us has been before. Dominion Hill County We didn’t realize the house and grounds were once owned by the gentleman who owned both the Saturday Evening Post and Ladies Hime Journal. The tent was large and very clean. Even the little deck’s portable facilities were clean.
Our king bed was comfortable and we slept well. Being older, the trek up to the tent site was not something we were prepared for but handled it ok. The bathrooms were spotless. Not sure why people don’t close the outside door so insects and such don’t get in. Breakfast was filling for my husband; he enjoyed the egg casserole. They did have gf bread for toasting but I thought I needed more protein than carbs. Thank you for the experience! I love trying something different!
The Chalet was very clean and spacious. We had the pet friendly chalet and we liked it very much.
Communication before we arrived was fairly quick when I had questions and our key was placed in prominent location with clear instructions on location of cabin and info for the area, as we arrived after hours.
Continental breakfast was available in the morning and check out was very quick. Nice quiet place.definitely book again if in the area.
This is a unique, historic and beautiful inn, with gorgeous wood furniture and lovely pottery, books and furnishings in the rooms. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. It's about 15 min from St.Andrew or 20 from the downtown shopping and warf area. I would love to return to the area and definitely would stay at the Dominion Hill Inn. The owner and manager, Michael, is friendly and professional.
Friendly and helpful staff with a nice hot breakfast. Romantic setting with an Inn, various guest houses and glamping tents. Some of the tents are a small walk from a general parking area, which we didn't know until we arrived. The glamping tents are large and very comfortable with electricity and a really cool pellet stove.
Very comfortable beds. Hot tubs were neat but my wife found there were a few too many mosquitos.
We had never had a "glamping" experience before, so that was unique. The toilet facility situated next to our tent left a bit to be desired. The very clean restroom and shower building was nice. I wish it had been closer to our tent. The free breakfast was a nice addition. The hotel was not close to restaurants, except for one take-out place. We wish the restaurant at Dominion Hill had been available for dinner, but it was closed during our 3 day stay.
