10/10 would highly recommend, i dont normally bother to leave a review but this place exceeded expectations by far! Perfect location, helpful staff and a lively bar attached to the hotel
Hotel was really nice and I thought it was reasonably priced considering it's location. It was also alot quieter than I thought too which was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and room had plenty of added extras to make our stay more pleasant. The only problem we faced was that there was no water at all between the hours of 9am and 12pm, therefore we could not use the shower, flush the toilet or use the sink between these times.
The room was modern and of great size with all amenities needed for a single room. Nice big bath and shower. Would have given 5 star, only reason for not doing that is the room wasn’t sound proof and hence very noisy until quite late in the morning till the live music was ongoing in the downstairs pub of the hotel.
So the sleep wasn’t good and does not help when someone is working the next day.
Great location in Temple Bar area with easy access to tourist attractions. It is noisy, as the property properly discloses. This was not a problem for us, but may be for those who want quiet sleep. Easy walk to pubs, great restaurants and getting around town. We would stay at this property again.

Is this legal?
The hotel takes a 100 euro deposit on arrival - you will only be notified of this once you book
They dont just take your credit card details - they take the money from your card
,Although the email clearly states that it will be returned once housekeeping check your room , its actually takes 3 to 5 five days for the money to be returned
.
I have never encountered this in any hotel either in Ireland or abroad - neither has anyone I know, and I would question the legality of this practice
Great place to stay for a solo traveler. It’s in the middle of everything if you like pubs/bars. It is connected to a Bar and while I could hear the music in the elevator I did not hear the music once in my room. The room definitely could not accommodate more than 3 people. Two people at most because the bathroom is a closet. However, it suited my needs and a great choice for a night or two.
Bored, sleepy, unfriendly receptionists incapable of saying hello or welcome or making eye contact or smiling.. they need Urgent retraining on how to welcome guests.
Dispondent and unhelpful at answering even the most simple questions.
