The one thing I liked was the convenience. However the garden outside is shabby, my toilet seat was torn, the carpet lifting, windows filthy, bug screen torn and I had ticks in my bed. the breakfast selection was dismal and the coffee watered down.

Be aware of pet fees
This is a very basic older motel. Kind of clean. In need of repairs. It does not state on the website that they have a $25 fee per pet and it’s $150 if you don’t tell them you have pets. Don’t be fooled by pet friendly. We got in late at night and did not know. Breakfast was basic but did have some Hot choices like biscuits, gravy and sausage, waffles. Nothing really for a gluten free option except yogurt. We were charged an extra $25 for an extra guest as well because we had 4 in the room? So $100 extra fees. Just be aware.

Disappointed to learn @ check in the pool was closed. And there is no longer a hot tub as it was removed a few years ago. It would be helpful if website provided accurate information about amenities. Breakfast offerings were minimal...would have liked to see yogurt or some fruit

We have stayed here before while in the area. Overall the hotel is nice. Our room was clean and quiet large. The bathroom seems to have been uodated. The rooms were very quiet and I know that we had people near our room. The breakfast could use a few more options like fresh fruit and tea bags. Not everyone is a coffee drinker. The outside of the building needs a little TLC to improve the curb appeal.

This place was out dated and it showed. The lady at the front desk was kind, but when the men were there in the morning they stood around and did nothing. There were very limited options for breakfast. Rust all over our bathroom there was no water pressure. The room smelled very musty. We got the place because it had a pool and it was closed. I definitely would not go back.

Gem of a find
Our room was amazing!! My son and I were in town for his baseball tournament in Dyersville, IA. This hotel offered a HUGE jacuzzi room for a lot less cost than nearby hotels. The room was clean, big, and the beds were very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!!
