Property was not well maintained. The room was dirty. It smelled bad. Obviously you get what you pay for so lesson learned. Upon addressing concerns however, staff was not very polite. Ended up booking a different hotel for the night.

Property wasn’t as clean or as nice as pictures or rating of the property made it seem when booking. Was close to downtown Dubuque, so was the only plus.

The room was clean and staff were great. The beds were too soft and the coffee pot did not work! 😩

This hotel is very run down. Looks nothing like the pictures. The pictures must have been taken over 10 years ago. Our room had a terrible smell. The carpet was absolutely filthy. Both my partner and I have medical supplies that require to be plugged in at night and none of the plug ins worked. I would not recommend this place. If you do stay here the Mexican restaurant next door is the only bonus to this location.

Jayne was so helpful and friendly, and she also took care of the breakfast room. Breakfast included, fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagel, oatmeal, and waffles too!

Pros: fridge worked great, check in was easy, staff was friendly, price, location across from my son's college, quiet, breakfast (minimal but standard options such as waffle maker, bagels, cereal, muffin, banana, oatmeal) Cons: Older building, couldn't open window even an inch to try and get some fresh air even though i could see other windows open. My reservation was for 4 people but there were only 2 towels. Not the best lighting in the room and no full length mirror to make sure dressed OK. Other than that it was decent for the price.

Our door handle was broken and we couldn’t get back into the room. I told the male desk male and he just sort of stared at me looking bewildered. They did eventually repair the problem. At breakfast, I was going to get a bowl of cereal, but all they had was paper plates, no bowls. The whole building could use some renovation.
