I thoroughly enjoyed my two day stay. The only improvement I'd like to suggest is that perhaps snaking the bathroom drains would help the plumbing fixtures drain faster. The sink was especially slow. I love the Hamilton Beech Brewstation for brewing coffee. Ingenious. See you next year.
Great stay on the north shore. Bikes for rent to enjoy the lake walk. Easy grab and go breakfast. All the amenities needed and an awesome view of the lake.
The walls are thin, so you can hear everything. But the room we had this time was quiet and we will book it every stay from now on. Not going to say which room, so we can keep our little secret.
Lakeside rooms are the best view of the lake. Since you're not in Canal Park it is not congested and it's quiet. Nice walking path that goes both directions outside of the resort.
Friendly & helpful staff, incredible location, and wonderful amenities. Definitely my new Duluth destination.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Property/room was nice and staff was very pleasant; however, could hear people walking upstairs all night ( last I remember was at 3am), every door that open and closed around us slamming shut, and conversation/TV from the room next door. The balcony looking out at Lake Superior would have beautiful had it actually been private. There was a slated, open partition shared with the neighbors next to us; could see and hear everything. Even if neighbors were not on their balcony, their patio door was still open and could hear everything (much even if we were inside with our patio door closed, but still!) $330 for a room were were able to get much sleep in or enjoy a romantic lake view. Will not be going back or recommending.
