Orcas Gem
Nice property for a large group or multiple families. The upstairs/downstairs layout allowed our teenagers their own space but there was plenty of room to have everyone hang out in the common areas. Easy to find, check in was great and the property had everything you need for a weekend get away. Only a short ride from the ferry.

Great Place for a Family Get-Together
We had a mini family reunion while on Orcas & this property was perfect - big enough for everyone to stay in one place, a well-equipped kitchen (2 actually!) for preparing meals & some small sports equipment (like badminton racquets & birdies, balls, etc.) for outdoor activities. The beds were pretty comfortable & there was room for everyone to hang out. I would definitely stay here again if we're on Orcas with a large-ish group again.

Family adventure
The location was great to access all of the highlights on the island. The indoor space was great for our family to spread out. The outdoor space allowed us to play volleyball, badminton and hang out on the decks. Lots of stargazing at night.

Family delight on Orcas Island!
It was the right accommodation for our family to be together in one place laughing and enjoying one another’s company. It was also a lovely location for enjoying the pastoral quiet and nature of Orcas Island.

Quick Orcas Getaway
The property is great! A lot of space for several people to hang out and either be together or spend some time alone. The location is easy to find, and nicely situated on the island to get to Eastsound or Moran State park. We had a really wonderful time.

Perfect Retreat
The house was perfect for our family stay. We loved cooking together in the spacious kitchen and also used the bbq for family meals. The location was perfect for our day trips to explore the island. There are not many houses for a larger family group on the island so we would recommend this home for your stay. The property is well maintained we enjoyed eating on the patio and star gazing at night.

Spacious house with great yard
We rented this house for a weekend with six adults and a 3 year old, and we had plenty of room. The yard has lots of activities and amenities to keep a kid busy. House has two full kitchens, which was nice.

Comfortable, quiet family home
Cedar Field house is a well cared for older home in a rural setting close to the main road to Eastsound. The location was wonderful because it is quiet and private but also it is close to town and many of the special places on Orcas Island like Moran State Park. The house accommodated our family of six adults, one baby, and three young kids very well. It’s actually two houses in one because both the upstairs and downstairs have kitchens, bedrooms, living/dining, and bathrooms. We all enjoyed staying there and wished we could have been on Orcas longer.

Large, comfortable house
We had a lovely family reunion at this large house, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. Our host Jesse was very responsive and answered questions immediately. With 2 walk-in showers and the ability to enter the house from the ground level, those with slight mobility issues can be accommodated. Sports equipment included (croquet, badminton, volleyball, horseshoes) gives plenty of opportunity to play together and get those ya-yas out! Very quiet and private location. We enjoyed our stay!

I sent a crew for a project on Orcas, they said everything was beautiful! Its a little remote but they were fine with that since it was near the jobsite. One item for future would be a stronger wifi connection (had issues keeping up with the tv apparently) but that may be the best the Island offers :)

Perfect Group Escape
Great location for a group getaway. The setting is both beautiful and convenient, providing a quiet island escape with quick and easy access to all points of interest. The many bedrooms and two kitchens made accommodating a group of 9 a breeze. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience from start to finish.

As advertised
The property was much as advertised. Plenty of room to play outside which is where we spent most of our time enjoying the lovely evenings. The kitchen was well appointed and overall it was pleasant place to stay. It was clean and well kept. When we arrived it was a bit musty downstairs, but we aired it out and it was fine. I would recommend the property to anyone with a large party looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Orcas.

Wonderful getaway for a relaxing weekend
Jesse was wonderful to work with and the house was absolutely gorgeous. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Enough rooms for each of us to have our own. Easy access to the ferry and the local markets while being secluded enough to avoid the noise of everyday activities.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was clean and spacious and perfect for our party of seven. The kids played in the volleyball field and had fun exploring around the property. Wish we had time to do a bonfire. But the large deck was awesome for stargazing in the evenings. Lots of games to play in the cupboard. Beds were comfortable plenty of bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The ease of getting to the property was perfect. Everything about our stay was excellent and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Host was always very responsive anytime I had a question. If you’re looking for an island oasis when you’re visiting orcas with your family or large group, this house is ideal. Had most everything we needed in terms of kitchen use and bathrooms. Love the peacefulness of the property as well. Really felt like we were secluded and in a private getaway, But still really easy to get to town.

Overall the property was nice and we had plenty of room. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all it had to offer. The well used areas (kitchens for example) were well stocked and clean. There are some things I'd change if it were mine, but I'd stay there again.
