Great location. Did not realize rooms were above a pub, so no other shared areas. 80 steps to our room on top floor. Nice decor and very comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Truly one-of-a-kind lodging. We walked the short distance to the Inn on the Mile from the train station, checked our bags, and enjoyed a delicious lunch downstairs before heading up to our room for a respite from the busy Fringe streets. Our room was cozy, but luxurious and comfortable, and a great central location for exploring everything that Edinburgh's Old Town has to offer. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff. Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in room 8 which is on the top floor. The room was small but well equipped. The bed was very comfortable.

Perfect location for seeing the city! Steven was the nicest and most helpful!!!! We loved our stay - big rooms and bathrooms. Keep in mind there are stairs - so not a choice if you can’t handle stairs!

My stay at the Inn on the Mile was one of the best that I could ask for. All of the staff was super helpful, the food was brilliant and best of all I felt safe as a single woman traveling alone to be able to have a drink or two and then go up to my room. The only thing I would note is there is no elevator so you will get a great stair workout!

Fabulous location. The rooms were a bit hard to access with luggage (no elevator, lots of stairs), but the rooms were very nice. Very expensive, not sure it was good value for the money.

What a gem! This hotel has everything and is located in the heart of the Royal Mile. Monica was so helpful when we checked in after a long travel day and took great care of us when we had breakfast and checked out. The beds were so comfortable, the bathroom felt like a spa and having a drink and dinner right downstairs was a bonus. My daughter and I were able to take in all the sights of the Royal Mile and enjoy the luxury of our room after a long day. Thank you for an enjoyable visit!

Amazing location right in the centre of Edinburgh! Staff were super friendly and the room was huge as well as the bathroom. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Good breakfast as well. Definitely recommend.

Fun boutique pub/hotel with nicely appointed rooms & breakfast made to order. Pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the rooms as there are just a handful of them over the pub - and they were relatively quiet. Pub was lots of fun in the evening w live music from 830-12pm. Can’t beat the location either !!
