This place is cute, but man does it smell musty. I figured this would be the case given the other reviews, but wow. Definitely don’t suggest staying here unless you can keep some windows open. There’s clearly an issue with ventilation here. Too bad because it is honestly a cute spot and very well located. Otherwise, it’s fine. The master bed could use a replacement mattress or bed frame, we ended up using the other bedroom for this reason, which was fine just something to note if you toss and turn like I do, it’s loud. The WiFi connection was good enough for light streaming, our phones and working, so that was nice.
The backyard area is very nice, it was too cold for us to use it much, but it’s kept up very well, I could see this being a great hang out spot in the summer.
Another suggestion, and this may have been listed somewhere and I missed it, but label the wall switches. There are switches that control certain outlets in different places, super confusing when you first arrive and you’re trying to the get the heat going (because yes, there is a switch that controls the outlet the furnace unit is attached to). I’d also suggest looking into a new cleaning company, whatever their standards are, they’re mediocre at best.
All in all though, it was fine enough for a weekend, I wouldn’t book it for anything longer than that, though, unless they can get the smell thing figured out.
