Foxhound Lodge is a cozy, picturesque cabin perfect for either the traveler who wants to enjoy the nature of North Georgia or who is content with a relaxing getaway indoors—or a combination of both! Located in Coosawattee River Resort, Foxhound Lodge feels like your family’s second home in the mountains. With 4 cozy bedrooms and 2 baths, Foxhound Lodge comfortably accommodates 8. Guests can enjoy this beautiful cabin experiencing its gorgeous outdoor seating areas, where you are likely to spot a family of deer, or in the comfy, welcoming indoor spaces, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in front of the gas log fireplace. With its modern finishes, Foxhound Lodge is the perfect mix of wilderness and comfort. Stained glass windows and the cozy porch swing give this cabin the perfect calming atmosphere. When you pull in to the driveway, you’ll immediately realize your relaxing cabin vacation has begun.

Additionally, Foxhound Lodge (conveniently located a short distance from the Ellington entrance) gives you access to some of the Coosawatee River Resort amenities, including hiking, outdoor parks, and fishing are all available for your enjoyment. It is also a short drive from Downtown Ellijay, with quaint antique shopping, restaurants, and more! Once back at the cabin, you have all the modern conveniences you expect, with a full kitchen, WiFi and Cable television.

Ellijay cabin in the woods
The cabin was beautifully decorated with special touches by the owners. Very roomy, comfy living area, beds were comfy, well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens. The community was safe and the wildlife was enjoyable to watch. Plenty of porches and outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoors. Fire pit was amazing with plenty of wood. 10/10
