Our fully furnished Beach House is located on gorgeous Manasota Key in Southwest Florida. It sleeps up to 8. Master Bedroom has a King Sized adjustable Bed. Bedroom 2 has two bunkbeds that can sleep 4 Adults and there is a Bonus Room with a Cozy Queen Sleeper Sofa. Our Newly remodeled kitchen with eat on counter and a beautiful cozy living room with 50 inch TV. The kitchen is fully functional and totally remodeled with brand new appliances including a refrigerator, range and microwave. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The house has a fabulous outdoor shower which is totally private for rinsing after your day at the beach. BBQ and outdoor dining are onsite.


Enjoy family time playing in the sand, swimming, fishing morning walks, shell or shark teeth collecting, read a good book or just sitting under an umbrella. In the early evening sit back and enjoy watching a beautiful sunset.
The house is fully equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, beach toys, a beach cart and bicycles available for you to use. We also have kayaks' available as well. Just pack a bag and enjoy your beach vacation!

Our home is a single family home, NOT a Duplex or Shared Space OR townhouse like other properties in the area.. We live in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

We have parking for 2 vehicles in our driveway. When you arrive, check in quick and easy. Use our Ring Doorbell to let us know you have arrived and you’re all set.

While staying with us enjoy culinary delights at one of our local restaurants where you are likely to find live music most days of the week, you can ride on Stumpy's Free Rides, the island golf cart service.

Explore the other Key beaches including Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach and Manasota Beach, each offering another glimpse of the island life on Manasota Key!

When you stay with us you are booking our house, and not a duplex.

Hidden Gem
The Lemon Shack is wonderful. All of the thoughtful details provided by the hosts were spot on. Everything you could ever need for a beach vacation was provided. Excellent communication from the host. The house was very clean and well stocked. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The lemon shack
The house it clean and neat. Very nice we loved the quick walks to the private beach. Our boys kayaked the golf and we found lots of shark teeth. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Hugo and his wife have done a great job with this property. We have three kids ages 14-20 and there was plenty of room. We loved our stay

Great Spot
We had a fantastic stay at the Lemon Shack! It was within walking distance of the beach which we loved, and the house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Hugo was a great host and we would absolutely book again if we find ourselves back in the area!

Great location!
This property was close to everything. The house was very accommodating. We had 5 adults and a dog. We enjoyed the private beach and fishing from the dock. Hugo was always always available to answer any questions. I loved the book of information at the house for recommendations. We loved Stump Pass beach and Geraldi’s had the best food and friendly staff.

Great Home on the Key! - Super Hosts - We will be back!
Although there for a short stay in Englewood/Manasota Key this time for work & not leisure, we chose the Lemon Shack to hang our hats for a few nights. We all found the house very comfortable, clean & modern. Pictures on VRBO are true representations of the property. Super Cute! We have stayed on the Key before and found another property not to be a fair representation of the home. Not to worry here! This house is fabulous! Close, quick walk to Lemon Bay and a short bike ride to the beach side. Beds were comfortable, appliances were modern, clean & fully operational. The only recommendation we would have is a small hook or pull on the pocket door of the bathroom as it was a little hard to open & we wished there was a gas grill. Other than these 2 little suggestions - it was a PERFECT home for our stay. You won't be disappointed in the landscaping & the beautiful mature trees & I am sure when it is a super sunny & hot day, the shade will be welcomed after a day at the beach! Sadly we had cooler weather. But it worked out for our purpose on this trip. As for the hosts - they are terrific - answered our questions before we even booked the property & were attentive & easy to communicate with from the beginning through the last day. We will without a doubt, be back to the Lemon Shack!! If this property comes up in your search for your available dates - don't hesitate - Just Book it !! YOU WILL LOVE IT !! Thank you Hugo & Family ! See you again soon Lemon Shack!

We had a great time! Hugo was amazing as a host! There were sandwiches and snacks when we arrived because we didn’t get there until 3am. The beach was great! We kayaked, swam, collected shells and shark teeth! We had so much fun!

Perfect place for an active family
We loved our stay at the Lemon Shack! Our super busy fam needed a break where we had no obligations or schedule. This was perfect! The home was comfortable and adorably decorated. The beds are great! Our family loved fishing, kayaking and sifting for sharks teeth. The bikes are super helpful and the home had everything we needed. It was an amazing get-away!

Amazing!
Everything about the lemon shack was fantastic! My family of 6 stayed for five days and it had everything we needed from beach supplies to cooking utensils. Communication with the owner couldn’t of been better, even when my aunts car battery died when we were leaving he had someone there in 20 minutes with jumper cables. We will definitely be back.

Lemon Shack!!!!!!!
The Lemon Shack was exactly as described! Plenty of space and VERY clean. It had everything we needed to feel at home -- not OUR home, but we wished it was ours. With Lemon Bay on one side and the Gulf on the other we were never bored. I called dibs on the adult 3-wheeler months in advance, and I think I need one at home now. I had never ridden a bike to the beach!! In addition, Hugo was an amazing host! He was always quick to respond.

Wow!
We have rented a lot of very nice VRBO properties, but this was by far the best largely due to the excellent communication with Hugo the owner who made the stay feel so perfect and personalized. I was concerned about the walk to the beach with our 5 year old Granddaughter but it was actually easy and pleasant. And the provided bikes made it a breeze to carry our beach toys and towels (also provided!). This property was spotless inside and out and everything from the furniture to the linens to the kitchen supplies were high end. We ate out at all of Hugo's excellent restaurant suggestions (about a 5-10 minute drive) and had fun BBQing and cooking our own meals. The feel of the property is very beachy and tropical with beautiful lush vegetation and comfortable outdoor seating. We really appreciated the dual adjustable bed in the master and our Granddaughter loved the bunk room (also very comfortable beds). A couple of our favorite memories were taking the short walks to watch the sunrise from the dock and the sunsets from the beach. Magical! We are already planning our next trip back to the Lemon Shack. Thank you Hugo!
