Fairmont Family Getaway
Our stay at this cozy home was absolutely wonderful! The location is fantastic, and the layout of the house is absolutely perfect for young and old alike. The owner was very easy to reach, and extremely helpful, kind and courteous through the entire process. We have already recommended it to family and friends and will definitely stay again. 10/10!

What was once a nice house has fallen into disrepair due to years of neglect and lack of maintenance. The old Cedar shack roof is in horrible shape and covered with years of pine needles, it is a fire hazard! Also, there are open wire outlets on the walls. A large heat/fan register shows evidence of a fire at one time as it is all burnt. The wooden widow castings are horribly rotting as well as the door frames. The floor is lifting and had shards sticking up, dangerous for people and pets. The blinds are in very bad shape and need replacing. I doubt this home is even up to safety code and the owner states he is in the construction business..shameful. Outside not much better with piles of debris. Not as serious but annoying as there was no paper towel, salt, soap, and other necessities that were listed. Old beds topped with cheap pieces of foam. The house is just sad from years of neglect and it feels that way. It has a odd stench to it and the dishwasher smelled awful.This is a classic take money in but put nothing back. I feel it was badly misrepresented on VRBO and by the owner. I have pictures and would love to post them to show just how much damage is in this home. A very disappointing rental indeed, but the area is nice. I am not one of the friends or family reviews obviously. Renters beware!

Great Place Close to the Hot Springs
Beautiful house, close to the hot springs. House was very clean located close to the golf course, great for walking and overall access to the area. There could have been a few more amenities (shampoo/conditioner) but overall a great experience. Host was easy to get ahold of and check on us to ensure we had everything we needed.

Lovely home in a perfect setting.
The cozy and comfortable home is well appointed with all that you may need. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, solid furniture and a fabulous location amidst the gorgeous mountains. There is so much to do for the entire family, golf, hot pools, mini golf, zip lining, 2 lakes with beaches, horseback riding. Fairmont hot springs and this home is perfect for a family vacation.

Wonderful, relaxing stay.
This house is a gem. It is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and in a great neighborhood. We stayed here with our six-year old daughter and two dogs. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. It was perfect for our mini ski vacation.

Place is ok for couples but not for a family. Fairmont hot springs is closed for anyone not staying at the property, so we didn’t go. This place needs to be cleaned more. The toilet on the guest bedroom needs to be fixed. The stay was overall just ok. I texted Darren the owner but he didn’t reply to my questions.

Pretty house, but needs regular maintenance
This house needs regular maintenance and careful cleaning. Someone needs to do a careful walkthrough. The handle on the toilet in the main bath was broken, "fixed" with a bit of tape. This should have been discovered by the cleaners. We had to remove the lid and flush manually. The carpets were very badly soiled. When we brought this to the owner's attention, they were cleaned the next day, but it never should have been rented in this condition. Empty bottles of oil, etc and crumbs in the cupboards. The BBQ had not been cleaned and was in very poor condition. Assuring us that it would be replaced after we left was not satisfactory. An earlier comment mentioned the 4 ft weeds by the front door - still there. Mouse droppings on the back porch. This house could be a wonderful place to stay, but it was a disappointment. We agree with the earlier comments. We requested a partial rebate on our rental fee due to all of the issues, large and small, but were refused this courtesy.

Good choice for our family
My family and I had a great time at this property. It was clean, cozy and the beds were comfy. We liked the convenience of using the garage for stroller/bikes/etc and the kids loved having their own smart TVs in their rooms. Also, the house stayed cool even without air conditioning. The couches weren’t the most comfortable though, and the kitchen could use an ice cream scoop!

The property needs more care and upkeep. No air conditioning, bbq needs replacing, weeds 4’ high in front. Very small deck and no outdoor table. The water cooler is broken but still in house. A hole in the walk in closet wall. Large heavy dining chairs bench on carpet. Stains on carpet.

Beautiful location, clean house with a fully equipped kitchen
Beautiful clean house located on the golf course about 1-2 km away from the hot springs. It is not walking distance but short distance by car. Good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen. The only inconvenience is the fireplace. It was not connected to the gas line so we couldn't use it. In the middle of winter the fireplace is a bonus. Water tank must be very small as we run out of hot water very quick after filling up half of the jacuzzi. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The owner is very quick to respond to inquiries and we appreciated that! Thank you!
