This two story brick house was built in 1982 by my father Hobert Lewis. Hobert believed in family and friends. He believed they should come together, celebrate, and enjoy each others company and treasure those moments together. Hobert passed away in 2021 at the age of 96 and believed this farm should stay with those principles.
I have taken it upon myself to have our family farm completely renovated. Even the hardwood oak flooring installed on the second floor comes from the farm. Logs were cut from mighty oak trees that had blown down during a storm, transported to the Amish and tongue and grooved by old world methods. A Charleston, South Carolina designer has helped us make design decisions for the complete renovation. All three bathrooms renovated and tiled, tubs and showers redone, first floor hardwoods refinished, complete repainting of the inside of the house, garage floor has been sealed and was turned into a game room, combination kitchen dining room retiled, all new washer/dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washtub. Our goals were to have a (NO CLUTTER) light, airy, minimalist feeling where friends and family can make memories and enjoy time together.
