The person who checked me in was really nice, But the management of this hotel are not good , I booked a room through Expedia and I booked another room through the hotel directly so I had 2 rooms for 2 nights each , they charged me for two rooms although Expedia is paying for one , and they know that, but they still charged me , and they wouldn’t refund the money, so I contacted Expedia and there’s a refund coming on the way , that is a very obvious misunderstanding that should’ve been fixed , instead I had to jump through hoops to get reimbursed and I’m still waiting for a refund . August 13 through the 16th of every year there’s a big catholic gathering in Carey Ohio , since there’s no hotels in Carey, a lot of people stay in Tiffin or Findlay , so obviously they should be prepared. We had to wait almost an hour for breakfast and on the second day I did not have any breakfast, because breakfast ends at nine at 8 o’clock there was still cooking with no food on the counter. Also there was blood stains on our pillow and sheets . The place is managed poorly. I would not stay there again . The reason I chose that hotel because I stayed in it 11 years ago also because it is an IHG hotel and I know how good these hotels are , but I’m really disappointed and I’m not staying there again .

The room was great! My only complaint is the shower wasn’t cleaned and there were little black hairs all over the shelves in it. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great!

Staff was friendly, room and facility was clean. Variety of breakfast choices. Room filtering blind only on window, dest staff provided a sheet to cover the window which helped a little. AC rattled loudly. Mattress very firm.
