Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Beartooth Mountain Range from the comfort of your cozy cabin, while being serenaded by the soothing sounds of the rushing West Rosebud Creek. This picturesque location is perfect for nature lovers seeking a peaceful getaway. This secluded retreat is sure to recharge your senses and leave you feeling refreshed. The Elk Cabin sleeps 4 and offers a cozy, comfortable, and clean space with that rustic cabin charm. A king size bed with sturdy mattress and fluffy, cotton-soft bedding is perfect to snuggle into after a day of hiking or exploring. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa for the kids or friends. The property has ample water supply which makes for a nice, hot shower at the end of the day. The kitchen comes well-equipped, and there is a gas grill on the covered deck. For relaxing at the cabin and eating in, there is a local, country grocery store in Fishtail 10 minutes from the cabin. There is a larger grocery store in Columbus about 30 minutes away.

Come seeking adventure? South central Montana won't disappoint! Experience the raging Woodbine Falls in Nye. Hike the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area, Custer National Forest or the Beartooth Mountain Range. Wildlife abound including elk, moose, deer, mountain goats, big horn sheep, black bear, grizzly, mountain lions, wolves, and bald eagles often visit the area. Mystic View Cabins makes a perfect base location for a day trip to Red Lodge by way of the famous scenic Beartooth Highway.

If fishing is your Montana dream, the Stillwater River is known for some of the best fly fishing in the state. Minutes from our cabins check out Stillwater County's multiple fishing accesses.

Kyler and Ashley are very polite, friendly, and wonderful people. If I have a chance I would definitely go back to visit again. The view is beautiful. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and just the right size for 2 people. There is nothing bad that I can say at all. We had a great 1 month stay.

Perfect Vacation
Elk cabin is perfect for a vacation stay. Everything you need and so quiet that you do hear the river. Beautiful location, comfy beds, and the perfect porch to look at the mountains. The boats were very nice and provided snacks and farm fresh eggs. Couldn’t have been a nicer vacation.

Like having a warm blanket wrapped around you.
This property was very warm, quiet and clean. We loved sitting on the deck every morning drinking our coffee, watching and listening to the many species of birds that would fly up to say good morning. We even had some deer come in to say good morning. The owners werr easy to communicate with. It was our anniversary that weekend and they had cake, sparkling cider, and a goodie basket there for us upon arrival. They even had farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator for us!!! This place rates 10 out of 10!!

If you want an excellent view, excellent accommodations, and an excellent experience , book this rental quickly. You will be happy when you wake up to the sunrise with the wildlife abundant. The interior of the cabin is clean and the bed very comfortable. It is perfect for a couple with or without a small family. The Hosts are very eager to make your stay an excellent one.

Spectacular views from the front porch!
We loved our stay at the Elk Cabin. The location was remote and quiet and the view from the front porch was the best part. The bed was big and comfortable. We made steaks and baked potatoes on the gas grill one of the nights and had everything we needed. The space is cozy, but perfect for a couple. I'm not sure 4 people would be comfortable, unless they were children.

Magnificent location
The view of the Beartooth Mountains from the patio is breathtaking. Turkeys and deer on the property just added an extra little charm. The cabin is adorable and homey. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views, restful cabin.
Communication was glutchy at first, but the cabin and the views far surpassed my expectations. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. I can't think of anything that was left out. I met Lauren, the property manager who lives nearby. She is an absolute gem. I hope to make it back here again.
