Upscale Apt - ideal for long stays

Sleep peacefully on the memory foam queen size bed or enjoy a show from the bed on the 43" TV. In the bedroom is a height-adjustable desk and chair. A large, walk-in closet off the bedroom stores your clothes and belongings during lengthy trips. Also available are a queen-size air mattress and a pack n play.

A stackable washer and dryer in the spacious laundry room offer the convenience of home.

Kitchen is supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig or filtered water from the Brita pitcher. Use the Instapot to prepare a meal or enjoy take out at the kitchen island or dining table. Dishwasher, oven, range, microwave and standard appliances for guests' use.

A stackable washer and dryer in the spacious laundry room offer the convenience of home.

Enjoy sitting on the balcony or make use of the outdoor grills in the private courtyard.

Exercise in the fitness room or reserve the club-house rooms.

So much to explore nearby: George Washington's Mount Vernon estate, old town Alexandria, Robert E. Lee's Arlington House, and so much more! Only 20 minutes drive to the National Mall and DC's Smithsonian museums, the White House, Capitol Building and national memorials.

Please note: Supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent, light bulbs and batteries (where needed) are provided but any re-stocking during a guest's stay is their own responsibility and no re-imbursement is offered for items left in the apartment.

Full names and photo IDs of all adult guests age 18 and over must be provided at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the booking (or the day the booking is made in the event it is booked within 7 days of the start of the booking. Access to the property will not be granted until the names of all guests have been provided).

Great accommodations
We had a fantastic 7-day stay! The host gave us spot on instructions for check-in. There were even pictures to help in the process. Parking was convenient and close. First and foremost, the unit was clean. I felt like I could walk around the unit without shoes! The basics were covered in the kitchen such as pots, pans, dishes, coffee, things like that. There were plenty of bathroom linens provided. Both the towels and sheets were super soft. There was plenty of space in the closet for our belongings. All the TV worked and if you have streaming services, all you have to do is sign in with your info. (don't forget to sign out!) You don't have to go outside to throw away trash, there is a trash shoot inside. The balcony has a nice view of the court yard. We stayed here in the winter but I am sure it would be a great place to sit and have morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The laundry room also provided all of the things need to do laundry. We had no issues with the washer and dryer. If you want to take the Metro to go in to Washington DC for some site sight seeing and don't want to drive, it's about a 15 minute drive to the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station. We did have a little hiccup with check-in, no fault of the host. They were easy contact and they corrected the issue quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Comforts of home and very clean
I would stay here again. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Check in procedure was explained thoroughly and the apartment was in a great location. Only a few issues such as coffee maker didn't work where it was plugged in so we had to move it as well as wet towels in the washer when we went to use it. Checking out was where I was a bit disappointed. We had a 13 hour drive so we tried to leave at 630am however, checkout instructions were not given. We didn't know where to place the keys. I see I'm not the only guest that's had this issue based on their review. So I would suggest improving the check out process so guests can begin traveling early if they so chose. Not everyone checks out at 11.

Great Accommodations
We loved our stay at this one bedroom apartment. Apartment was a nice size with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and very clean. Owners added additional touches by supplying a welcome basket of snacks, k-cups for the coffee maker and stocking the bathroom with shower supplies. A bit of a scavenger hunt checking in and technical issues checking out, but I was able to reach the office and they walked me through the process. I would defiantly stay here again!
