To be honest it was terrible. The room was super small and it was dirty. The bathtub was dirty with old gunk stuck to it. We cleaned it. The cold water didnt work. The bedding was stained. The walls were super thin and we could hear the carts and cleaners going by as well as every conversation that took place outside our room. I asked to switched or upgrade rooms the first day we arrived but was told they were booked up and the place was near empty. It was just an overall bad experience.

This place was a hostel more than a hotel. No phone or iron in room. Bed on the floor, floors stayed wet, you had to cryptically order room cleaning via an app. Food over charged, canst charge to room. “We are not a part of the hotel” not a smart tv can’t watch movies just local channels. About 11 miles from Fort Lauderdale strip. Never again the place sucks…

Not the room I expected. Horrible chair too uncomfortable to sit in. Bed was uncomfortable. The service was not acceptable. I’ve stayed there before and it was great. Ask to switch rooms none available Thought I was getting a balcony but got a tiny room.

Overall the stay was fine. We stayed there for one night. the location and the view was perfect. Parking was also good. It was valet parking with in/out privileges. Check-in was a breeze. The room itself was good, but there were some issues. The A/C in the living room was non-functional and did not respond to changing thermostat. The coffeemaker was also not working correctly. However we got by. The main issue was with the restaurant. The food was good but the service was slow. Furthermore, the restaurant charged 20% service charge to the bill, which is fine. However the hostess lied and mentioned that the tip is not covered and asked us to tip her. She made sure that the credit card was wrapped with the check so we do not see the amount on it. I thought this was very deceptive. Practices like this are make or break and I would now think twice before staying at this facility or sonder managed facility. Traveler s beware and double check the restaurant bill and push back if they say tip is not covered.

The property is in a safe area. GREAT access to a small private beach. There is FREE shuttle to town (just tip the driver) after 5:30pm. The room is on the small size. there is a small balcony with only one chair (there was two of us staying). The TV is on the wall parallel to the bed which made it very difficult to watch. The restaurant was overpriced, did not have a good selection and the bagels were old and hard. I would NOT eat at the restaurant for any of the meals. Walk the 1.5 miles to town.

An absolute gem with a great private beach. Sonder has done an excellent job with its pricing structure, which I’ll elaborate on shortly. Overall, our room was clean, well-appointed, and offered a stunning view. Check-in and Check-out The process was smooth and straightforward. Although not digital, the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The required valet service caught us a bit off guard at first—though, in fairness, it’s clearly noted on their website (I just don’t study hotel websites in-depth before a visit). That said, the valet ended up being a convenient feature and was surprisingly less expensive than typical valet services. Pricing Structure Some reviews mention surprise “resort fees” added in the restaurant, but this is standard practice for many hotels. What sets Sonder apart is their à la carte pricing approach. While it may initially feel like you’re being nickel-and-dimed, it actually allows for more flexibility and value. For instance, instead of inflating nightly rates to include amenities you may not use, you pay only for what you choose to enjoy. A great example is the pool chairs. At most resorts, these are “free” but baked into much higher overall rates. Here, the nightly rate is significantly lower, and you pay a small fee if you want to use the chairs. Similarly, cleaning services are not automatically included but are available upon request at no additional cost.

The room was nice - the bathroom outlet didn’t work so I had to use the outlet that was behind the night stand to blow dry my hair. Breakfast service the first day was great, today I waited for my server for 20 minutes before I decided to leave. There were only 5 tables with guests. The elevator takes forever! Also, they wanted me to pay an extra $40 to check in 90 min early. If the price was right, I might consider staying there again, but probably not.
