We're back and better than ever following Hurricane Ian.

Recently renovated beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath home located in the desirable north end of the island. Walk to Time Square and the white sugar sands of Fort Myers Beach! Enjoy the private heated pool with a screened lanai. The huge front lanai has bay views and plenty of seating for your enjoyment!

This very spacious home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the upper level, a large living room with super comfortable sofa sleeper for extra accommodations. The great room has a nice dining area, well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and extra seating.

The master bedroom has a King bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and a full bathroom is just down the hall. The third bedroom has a Queen bed, bathroom, and laundry in the lower level of the home which is separate from the upper level. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.

While the beach is as inviting as ever, please note that the Fort Myers Beach area is rebounding from Hurricane Ian and not all amenities are available yet. Construction and rebuilding is present on the island and moving fast. The current status of restaurants and other amenities on the island is in a state of change and island amenities may not be available or operating.

Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

Great Location
Location is key. This house was was nothing fancy inside, but the pool area was fantastic. Everything is within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. Management was extremely easy to get a hold of when I had questions.

Not as expected
This is our second stay at Casa Bella, first time in 2021 all went smoothly, no complaints, except for the noisy bed. This July 2022 quite a few issues. Management was easy to contact and did their best to resolve issues, not all of them resolved thou. Let's say sofa bed was a filthy surprise [gross negligence by maintenance crew] wi-fi did not work, although management did get involved and summoned the internet provider who could not find the problem, so no internet! Same issue with Directv, no tv during the whole stay, cable company made an appointment for Friday, which they did not keep! Hats off to Linda who contacted Directv and stayed on the phone with me and the cable company during their troubleshooting. She was great! Issue with pool was resolved a day later, very thankful for that as we had two pre-teens with no tv and no internet... not good. Maintenance crew needs to be more alert to problems such as broken lounge chairs, non-working shower doors, downstairs door needs some adjustment as it has to be either pushed or pulled very hard to close. The house itself is good, comfortable living room even though we had to order an inflatable mattress and reduced the space somehow, nice sun room. Decent bedrooms upstairs. The best bathroom is downstairs by the laundry room which comes in very handy. The area is quiet and safe, beach a few blocks away. All in all we will return, if maintenance improves.

Not impressed
I would love to give a higher rating, location was nice pool was nice, lower bath was nice, but cannot give a higher rating because of the filthy worn out condition of the rest of the property, mildew smell was so bad in lower bedroom, i am glad we only had to use it for 2 nights,the pool area was covered in dirt, the pool furniture is broken, and if you do not sit in it carefully it will fold up around you, Inside the main house blinds were broken, eating utensils were put away dirty, ants on counter, just worn, dirty and dated.

The 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms worked fine for us but the property needs a major update. Kitchen was not stocked well with silverware. Blinds were broken & old. Bathrooms needed updating too.

Nice cottage house near beach. Pool was great. Only downside was the nicest bedroom and bath were separate downstairs and not very secure. Lattice work walls enclosed the downstairs. Would be greatly improved with solid walls. Other than that it was fine!

Great location, poor housekeeping.
The property is well located wit close access to the beach, pier and shopping area. However, we encountered several negative experiences. The kitchen was poorly stocked. My husband and I had to purchase an additional pan as well as baking dishes. The main floor of the house has a musty smell. The smell in the downstairs bedroom is even stronger and we even found mold. Additionally, the house was not well cleaned. There were DUST BALLS everywhere, especially underneath the sofa where we also found an empty gatorade bottle. The mat in the master bath was disgusting. I placed a towel over it to avoid stepping on it. The property is advertised as having a screened in pool which was a selling point for me because of the mosquitos. However, the attached patio is not fully screened which really defeats the purpose.

Casa Bella, just as the name says
Just returned from Casa Bella, the place is just as described, very clean, comfortable, excellet location beach about 3 blocks away, restaurantss within walking distance. Pet friendly and bbq at pool level an added plus. Swimming pool is great. Just to make it clear downstairs room is accessed through the outside stairs, with own locked door, not suitable for younger kids, nice size room, a little musty, bathroom next to room is roomy and comfortable. My only complaint is the noisy matresses on both rooms upstairs. Every time my husband turned in bed it squeaked and I woke up and vice versa - not a vacation breaker but a nuisance. Other than that we had an excellent wedding anniversay/vacation. Can't wait to return next year. Highly recommend.

280 Ostego - Underwhelming and lot likely to book this property again.
The pros - The house was a short walk to the beach and downtown area. - The pool was really nice which was a huge plus for the kids. - Lots of beach chairs, coolers and wagon available to use. - The management staff was quick to respond to any concerns - check-in/out process was super easy. As for the cons, there were a number of concerns that our group had: - the 3rd bedroom & bathroom is downstairs and not part of the rest of the house. Although this was pointed out by another tenant's review, it is not listed in the description on the rental listing. Additionally, this area didn't feel very secure since it only had a locked screen door and a door made of lattice to keep intruders from entering. - the down stairs restroom is NOT air-conditioned (even though the listing says the house is air-conditioned). I'm sure during some times of the year this is not a concern, but June/July gets really hot and humid. It was like having a toilet in a sauna. The restroom was pretty much useless for other than a quick number one or short shower due to the heat. If you leave the door open at night to cool down, then you end up getting a room full of mosquitoes. There is a mini-split a/c unit in the ground floor bedroom that works great, there should be another one installed for the restroom/laundry area. - The upstairs showers had extremely slippery floors. They appeared to have had some non-slip strips at one time, but there was nothing on them anymore to reduce the slipping hazard. This was a concern for everyone, but especially for my in-laws who are in their mid-70s. I contacted the management company and they stopped in and put in some disposable mats. - A towel bar on the inside of the master bath shower had been broken off and part of the bracket still remained. That bracket had a sharp edge that my father-in-law cut his arm on. The management company stopped in and removed the remaining part of the bracket and ordered new parts to repair it. However, it's clear to me that the hazard was most likely overlooked for quite some time. - there were lots of ants on the kitchen countertop the entire week. We keep a very tidy place, so there were rarely dirty dishes around for them to be attracted to. One day a dirty plate was left on the countertop overnight and there were hundreds of ants crawling on it the next morning. I informed the management company for them to schedule an exterminator before the next tenant arrived.

Great location
The house was perfect for our group of four. The 3rd bedroom and bathroom are separate from the main house. The 3rd bathroom is also not air conditioned. The house was perfect for us and we loved having a private pool. We walked nightly to the beach and Times Square. It is about 3 minute walk to the beach and 10-15 minute walk to Times Square. This property had so many extras for the pool, beach, grilling and cooking inside. We would stay here again!

Nice place with good location
Nice place except the 3rd bedroom is not part of the house. You have to go outside and in the garage area for the bedroom and bathroom. Doesn’t work very well when you have small children and need the extra bedroom. But other than that it is a great place to stay. Close enough to walk to the square and check out all the shops and restaurants.

Awesome location!
This rental was great for two families! We loved the pool and the location...about 7 minutes to the beach; 5 minutes to get coffee every morning; easy access to all kinds of restaurants in the area. The sofa bed advertised was not used, but two teens on the sectional was an easy fix. The downstairs bedroom was a bit musty, but clean, and the new bathroom downstairs was a good trade off. The laundry room attached worked perfect. The home had all the amenities we needed to hit the beach, and good room to hang out at the house as well.
