The Space:
This charming apartment in pretty Polruan offers a very special experience. Enjoy some of the best, uninterrupted views across the River Fowey and over towards the harbour. You can pick up the regular ferry and head across to Fowey in less than 10 minutes - plus you won’t have to worry about parking either. When you’re tired out from exploring the local area, whether it’s sunning on the nearby beaches or taking long walks across the hills, head back to your pocket of serenity. Enjoy a sunset drink from the comfort of your sofa, or private terrace, as the sun sets over the water. When the weather turns, settle in for a movie or boardgames night.
Down the hallway, find three well-sized and comfortable bedrooms that accommodate six. The master has a king-size bed from which you can soak up the views with a morning cup of coffee. Meanwhile, next door is a double bedroom as well as an additional twin bedroom. All share two family bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower and bath unit.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment, which has its own private entrance. There is direct access to the terrace with a bistro dining set.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is tucked away on a quiet road, looking out across to Fowey and only moments from the water’s edge. Polruan is an ancient shipbuilding community and fishing village. It climbs to the hillside, bridging the River Fowey, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village itself is a maze of narrow street alleys and pretty cottages, much loved by its community. With a couple of pubs, a cafè and local shop, Polruan has maintained much of its unspoilt charm. You can access the South West Coastal Path straight from the doorstep, heading to Polperro and passing some stunning remote beaches.
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Fowey is known for being one of Cornwall’s most beautiful towns. Wander along cobbled streets soaking up the beauty of grand Georgian houses and medieval buildings. Watch yachts and sailing boats from a waterside pub, enjoy a spot of shopping in the independent boutiques and visit galleries to soak up some local art. If that wasn't enough, the area is also awash with events, such as the famous Fowey regatta.
You can reach across to Fowey on the regular passenger ferry - it takes just a few minutes. The ferry runs a daily service, finishing at 11pm during the summer and 7pm in winter - so you have plenty of opportunity to enjoy much of the bustling food scene there.

Getting Around:
Whilst it's always helpful to have a vehicle when exploring Cornwall, the ideal location of the apartment means you can easily enjoy the local area without the need for one. You can head across to Fowey on the ferry, for example. The nearby stations of Par and St Austell are on the train line from London Paddington, and just a 10 or 25 minute drive away by cab.
If you are bringing a vehicle, there is a public car park at the top of St Saviours Hill which charges £30 per car per week. There are electric charging points in the car park.
Other Things to Note:
