Fun getaway!
Came with a friend for a birthday weekend retreat. Place was perfect! Very cute and great bathroom… the lighting and getting-ready-area was well thought out! Pool was a real treat as weather was still hot. Needed more of something and it was brought to us in such a timely manner. Totally would stay here again!

Morning walking Main Street before the heat was too oppressive. Then afternoon by the pool listening to the ballgame. Quick walk to restaurant for dinner. Only slight disappointment was that many places were closed Monday and/or Tuesday and/or Wednesday

Anniversary Getaway
Our two night stay in the Vicars retreat was great. We enjoyed the simple modern decor. The bed was comfortable, with various blankets for temperature control. The pool was right outside our room but those enjoying it didn't didn't bother us. I gave four ⭐ s for cleanliness because there was a soap rapper and hair in the drain from previous guests but overall we were very happy with our stay. We would love to stay again and will tell friends and family to try it out.

Great Stay!
Location was perfect, very clean except for soap left in the shower. Bed was very comfortable. The shower door did not close completely so water leaked onto the floor when using but other than that, perfect for what we wanted. Will stay in the same cabin the next time we're up that way!

Property was cute and had a pretty good location. If you're hoping to walk to the stores on Main, be prepared for a long walk. The lock box to get the key fob was a little tricky and needed 2 people to work it. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

Loved the room. The location of the vrbo is great. Our room was ringht next to the pool which was good at times but not when people decided to stay there into the wee hours of the night carrying on loudly. The bed was super comfy. Shower huge! Nice visit.

Everything was just as described and spotless. The property is in a great location. The only downside is traffic noise at night. We live in the country so it may not bother most people. We’d definitely stay here again even with the traffic noise.

I always get a little nervous before staying in a VRBO, but this one did not disappoint! Check in process was very easy and parking was very accessible. The property was very clean except for one towel that had some stains on it. The one thing I didn’t like was that we could not lock our own doors, they locked immediately upon closing. It just made me a little nervous. Overall, clean and comfortable for a weekend trip!

Everything was clean and perfect. Just like the description and pictures. Loved using the pool! Location is at the end of Historic shopping. You can walk to stores but we chose to drive due to heat. Lovely neighborhood behind property to go for your morning run or walk. Perfect spot for a Fredericksburg get away.

Very nice inside but the Vicars room is right by the pool…..very hard and awkward going in and out when people are in the pool. Lots of pool furniture to maneuver around too. When in the bathroom you could hear every word if people were sitting outside at the pool which I’m sure they could hear us going to the restroom. Also the gate slamming on the bathroom side sounded like an explosion every time someone just let it slam close.

Perfect for Travel with a group
The property was beautiful and we traveled with a group with 6 couples and everyone loved their cabins as well! The location isn’t close enough to walk to the Main Street shops but there was plenty of parking at the cabin and near Main Street. We stayed at Our thyme cabin which faces the Main Street but we weren’t bothered by the traffic. The pool only stays open til 10.
