We were staying here for a bachelorette weekend. The pictures in the listing are kind of misleading to the actual inside of the property. Everything was nice, but there were too many interesting pictures on the wall (but that is personal preference and the homeowners decision of course, I’m just giving my opinion). But kind of threw us off once we arrived. The kitchen wasn’t fully equipped and everything was kinda just thrown around and not organized. We were most excited for the hot tub, but upon arrival, there was some interesting things floating around and at the bottom of it, that someone had to come out and clean it. In our heads, we were just thinking we needed a place to stay, and it did the job. The thing that frustrated us most was on this particular stay, there was a wildfire that broke out within 8 miles of where we were staying, and eventually crept in within 3 miles. We were told by the host we did not need to evacuate because it wasn’t coming in our direction, but I think that’s ridiculous. For my groups safety, we decided to leave and not stay the last night. We asked the host if we could get a refund for that one night because it was a dangerous situation if we were to stay, and they said no! How can you be like “oh the fire is within 3 miles, but y’all are okay to stay!”. Like to me that’s a little unsafe. We told ourselves the day we arrived, it was only needed for a place to stay and hang, and it served that purpose. Overall not the greatest in my opinion.
