Nice apartment in Fuengirola-Carvajal

This delightful two-bedroom holiday apartment is located in the Don Juan residential complex, which is situated in the beachy and mountainous area of Carvajal, not far from Fuengirola. The sandy beach can be reached in just 10 minutes on foot, although it is also uphill. The communal complex includes a pool with outdoor showers and a children's pool.



This tastefully furnished flat is located on the 3rd floor and has an elegant dining and living area with sofa corner, dining set and TV, from which you can access the beautiful terrace, which faces south-east and from which you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the sea. Here, a seating area invites you to dine al fresco and relax. The separate kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine. The bedroom with the double bed has an en suite bathroom, while the other has 2 single beds. Both rooms are equipped with built-in wardrobes, air conditioning and television. There is a further bathroom with shower. Please note that smoking and pets are not allowed.



The extensive beaches and coastline in this area of the Mediterranean are spectacular. There is also a sports and wellness club just 5 minutes away by car where you can pamper yourself or try your hand at paddle tennis, which is very popular in Spain. Close to the complex is the Carvajal train station, from where you can take day trips to the towns and cities along the Fuengirola Airport Málaga Málaga route. Fuengirola has an amazing six kilometres of sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and a wide range of water sports and leisure activities. The seafront promenade is lined with bars and restaurants and offers a wealth of entertainment. Equally popular with visitors and locals alike is the historic town centre, whose main square, the Plaza de la Constitución, has been extensively restored to preserve its old charm.

Apartment needs to be upgraded

No deciration on walls in sitting room. Couch needs to be replaced with something more comfortable. You can only enjoy the sun for 2 hours early in the morning because of the way they built the building.

Faultless experience - except for the hidden / additional non-optional costs!

The accommodation was excellent. The location (away from the "madness", but close enough to walk everywhere locally) was superb. The value for money was also very good. There was just ONE MAJOR PROBLEM ... If you're going to charge me "non-optional" extras (73 Euros compulsory cleaning fee + 6 Euro per day compulsory utilities fee + 20 Euros per head for bedding / linen = Total of 176 Euros), PLEASE quote these in the "up-front" quote before I've confirmed the booking. Forcing me to pay these costs AFTER I've committed to the Booking is not only UNETHICAL, but VERY, VERY irritating. And, you know what? - I was MORE THAN HAPPY to pay the extras - because the accommodation was WORTH IT, so you could have avoided irritating me and causing me to moan about it in this review by simply quoting it up front and letting me pay the whole lot at the time of booking, instead of £380 at the time of booking and then an additional £170 ten days before arrival. At £550 for 2 people for 8 days this apartment is still EXCELLENT value!

Asunto oli toimiva ja hyvällä paikalla, vaikka piti kiivetä kukkulalle se ei haitannut. Meillä ei ollut autoa ja siksi sijainti oli erinomainen koska juna-asema oli ihan vieressä ja ranta myös. Talo oli rauhallinen ja tuntui turvalliselta. Nautimme matkasta. Avaimen haku ja palautus oli vähän hankalaa kun ei ollut autoa, mutta onneksi taxi on Espanjassa halpa edelleen.
