Stairs are required inside the unit and also from the parking area to the door. Close to the North pro shop, General Store, and Driving Range. Although Galena is one of our favorite weekend getaways, this was our first time staying in the Galena Territory—but certainly not our last. We loved the beauty of the Territory as well as its proximity to downtown Galena. This unit was cozy and nestled in the woods with very pretty views. We slept well as it was quiet and peaceful and the bed was comfy. The unit was clean and had a good layout for two couples to both have some privacy. The only thing we wished it had was a gas fireplace. We do plan to come back!

It was very comfortable for a two night stay. Deck was a little crowded and it did not look like the outdoor sectional had been uncovered this summer, as it had a lot of dead leaves and debris under the cover. Interior was very clean and the furniture was comfy. We would definitely go back. Kitchen was small, but adequate and well stocked.

It’s a lovely townhouse. However, twice during the weekend there was a strong sewer smell coming from the lower level bathroom that went throughout the condo. Very unpleasant. It would go away , then return. Otherwise it was great.

The only suggestion I have is give the renters a code to get into the trash area. You need the owner card and if you are dropping off the trash on your way home, you don’t have it. I had to take the trash home with me.
