The Log House is approximately 2,600 square feet of comfort and joy.
3 levels; bedroom (queen) and bath on each level for your own space and privacy.
Main Floor: Great room -hardwood floors - vaulted wood ceiling - floor to ceiling boulder fireplace open to a sunny dining room and fully equipped kitchen with center island. Powder room and Master bedroom with whirlpool tub - separate shower.
Upper Level: Bedroom-bath-loft (great space for reading) overlooking the Great Room.
Lower Level: Gathering Room with pool table - TV. Bedroom - bath - laundry room. Patio with outdoor seating. Deck with hot tub kept hot year-round.

Fun getaway!
Place was just as described. Owners are super responsive. Hot tubbing post-skiing with the falling snow was a highlight. Also cross-country skied the beautiful trails, which are quite close to the cabin.

Just Okay
This property was clean and all systems worked except the gas fireplace. The place is exactly as pictured. Everything and I mean everything in this rental is dated to the 80’s and so very tired. The log home is of good quality with a nice layout but everything is old and low quality…not up to current standards. The grill and hot tub worked well. The beds are awful and have foam toppers that make the beds hot and uncomfortable. Two have footboards(inconvenient for us tall people) and all are queens with poor quality sheets and bedding. The gas fireplace log set is very old. The pilot light blew out as soon as we opened the glass doors. We know how to operate gas and electric fireplaces as we have 3 in our own home. We did not attempt to use it. Looked too risky. The fire pit was uncovered and filled with old wet ashes. The log pile was not covered so there was no dry firewood. We could not start a fire. The pool table is very old and in poor condition. We still had fun but it was an interesting game of nine ball. Would not return…this is my honest opinion and meant to help others. We spent over $1,000 for 2 nights in November for two people. Had to buy damage insurance for a house full of old items.

Great Cabin Vibes
This rental is exactly as advertised. Though our stay was short, it immediately felt comfortable and we all settled in quickly. It’s tucked away amongst beautiful trees and wildlife, yet close to Galena and all it offers. We all agree we want a longer stay next time! Messages to host were answered quickly!

Perfect home for couples getaway
The house has all the touches to make your stay comfortable. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, each couple had private space. The deck and screened porch were lovely as our weather was in the 70s.

50th Anniversary Celebration
We stayed at the log cabin for a week for my parents 50th anniversary, and we had a great time! The cabin is cozy yet spacious, really liked the 3 bedrooms and baths all on different levels. We also loved the screened in porch, we had coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening out there every day! The location of the cabin within the territory is also nice, it’s close to the Owners Club and marina. It’s a beautiful area and you feel like you’re in the secluded woods with all the trees surrounding the cabin. We golfed, swam, boated, shopped, and ate some great meals - both off the grill and at restaurants downtown ;) We made many memories and would definitely come back!

Wonderful cabin
My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend with our teen and preteen girls. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and fully stocked with all you would need. The hosts replied immediately when we had a question. The kids enjoyed the pool table and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It was a wonderful cabin in a beautiful area. Thank you!

Relaxing weekend
First time in this area, it is very pristine community, plenty to do when you combine the amenities the area offers then include the different communities like Galena. The home is well balanced, I especially liked that it had 3 sperate levels of the house with its own bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and privacy. While in a neighborhood the lots are exceptionally large, and this home is somewhat divided off from the others giving you a feel of privacy. Be sure to take advantage of the owner's club, very nice. Beautiful weekend getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. We were able to relax in a beautiful setting while having access to downtown Galena. The fact that it’s set back in the trees is a huge plus. The hot tub was perfect and pool table was a blast. TONS of games to choose from and ready to play. Spent lots of time playing charades in front of the lovely fireplace. Loved this place !!

Family Weekend
Our family enjoyed the history and beauty of Galena. Conditions were not ideal for skiing, so we enjoyed most of our time at the cabin, taking in the night sky and cozy surroundings of the cabin. Jigsaw puzzle and family games fireside, along with the hot tub, made for quality family time. Cabin is extremely clean and fully stocked, we were extremely pleased and plan on returning in the fall. Excellent communication with very kind, wonderful owners.

Galena Get Away
My husband and I stayed the weekend with a couple of friends at this cabin. It was very clean and absolutely cozy. Loved the beautiful fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked as well. Would definitely recommend this place.
