Perfect Stay at Pointe West
We stay at Pointe West frequently and this condo is definitely at the top of our list. It was clean, well appointed, and the beach view is amazing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay here again.

Nothing beats the beach!
My wife and I (plus Daisy, our Golden Retriever) had an awesome 5 days at Pointe West. The condo was clean and very secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. The beds were comfortable. We were the only ones in that condo building for 5 weekdays in early November. Peace and Tranquility. :) This condo building sits at the far end of Pointe West beachside condos and is therefore much quieter than the buildings closer to the pool. Very few guests in early November but the weather was perfect. 80 highs and sunny. The dog absolutely loved the beach. We were often the only people on the beach as far as the eye could see. The only drawback was a fire alarm went off which caused a fire truck to come and clear the building, but that was hardly the condo's fault. We will be back. Thank you. Eric, Diane and Daisy

Check in was miserable. Multipile codes did not work over 45 min of trying. Finally got combination to key . Vacasa was not very responsive & unprofessional. Never have this problem w SandnSea & invariably they will allow check in as soon as unit is ready. Pretty sure 302 was ready by 3 & we got in at 5.

Would rent again
The condo was as described. The location is nice bc it’s away from the tourism of Galveston, in fact, this particular condo is on the end of the property with very little movement. :)) The pier to the beach was fairly close. We never saw the pool, I’m sure it is centrally located on the property (that’s when a golf cart would come in handy). A friendly suggestion for the home would be to stock a few plastic cups/bowls/etc for children to use. And there are a few repairs I want to mention bc I’m not sure if there is anyone to let the owners know that these items need attention- 1: the water faucet in the kitchen is very loose 2: the towel rack in the small bathroom is down 3: there is a drawer pull on the chest in BR #2 that needs to be reattached. Please don’t let the above mentioned deter you from renting this condo. It is nice! I would definitely rent it again :))

Hidden cost
Parking pass $30.00 didn't receive the bill for parking pass until our last night. The were no information left in the condo where to get parking pass or where the pool was located. Also no information left for restaurant. Other that it was a very clean place.

Wonderful time at Pointe West!
We visit Pointe West every year as our laid back, mini-vacation of the summer, and had to look for a new condo as our usual rental unit got sold. We had a great time at this property, it is very clean, has all you need to prep simple meals, TVs on every room, and is a very short walk to the beach. If you like basketball, the court is next door to the building. And, the balcony has nice furniture if you want to eat outside or simply enjoy the rocking chairs and watch the ocean. I would definitely stay here again, very happy with it.

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend at Pointe West! The condo is comfy and clean, beds were great. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals. There was a supply of toiletries, paper towels, dish soap, etc Shirt walk to the beach and pool. The beach club was such a nice addition. The kids loved to end the day at the pool. Great stay at the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

The cleaning crew missed some things. The fridge and microwave were NOT clean and there was hair all on the floor. The view was amazing. The pictures did not do the place justice. The host were always available. We loved our stay.

Short getaway
The condo was clean and nicely furnished. There were several things that future renters would probably like to know however. The queen sized bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Also outside the window of that bedroom are two white lights. They are very bright and light up the room brightly at night. Between the lumpy mattress and brightly lit room, it was hard to sleep. It would be great if they would put a curtain in there. The outside deck had a nice view of the beach and ample places to sit. The condo is on the 3rd floor, which we loved. It was very windy while we were there. Along the roofline the rain gutter was only attached with two clips on each end. The gutter was very loose. The metal gutter banged against the boards of the building all day and all night. It was very loud and we were worried it would fall. We told the maintenance man about it and he said he would report it. We didn’t use the kitchen except for refrigerator but it looked adequately stocked. Overall we did have a good time and have used other condos at Pointe West before. Linda Jones

We really enjoyed our visit to Pointe West Beach Club! The condo was clean and very cute with a beach vibe. I will say the price for the required wrist bands is a bit steep for what you get. Other than that I would highly recommend!

Nice quiet beach rental
