Strong smell of mold walking in lobby. Mold on walls of room. Trash overflowing at checkin. Still there next morning flowing to floor. Lobby floor not cleaned for long time. Key card wouldn’t work. Locked out of room for 55minutes while front desk tried to open. This property should be closed down by city and not booked through Expedia. Breakfast was not worthy of continental. We passed on cheaper hotels because of its connection to Choice. Choice should drop them. I think pictures of mold.

Waited for over 10 minutes to check in while desk clerk spoke (not in English) on the phone. He did not understand how to check us in. Tried to do laundry, no soap was dispensed. Had to leave property to find soap. The clerk did not understand, seemed to think the soap would be transferred to the washer when we inserted our money in the dispenser. Would not refund our money.. Carpet in hallway and the room badly stained and worn. Worst property I have seen in years (and I travel often!)

You get what you pay for. The service here is poor. The owner is cheap and provides minimal amenities. Check-in was slow and took way longer than needed. We reserved two rooms; there were four adults and we were only provided one key per room when all four of us were present at the check-in counter. When we requested a second key, the first key was deactivated. We received two towels but no bathroom floor towel, and when we requested more, we were told they were being washed. There are just enough towels for the rooms being rented. Breakfast is a joke. Only a bunch of carbs: bread, muffins, waffles, cereal, apples, and watered-down coffee. The waffles had a terrible taste. We were told we could have a late checkout, and then the staff came knocking on our door right at 11 o'clock with a fake emergency, telling us we had to leave due to the weather. I will never stay here again.

Do not recommend at all!
The hotel lobby was very run down looking and seemed like the ac was broken. The room was not better at all. The was mold along the tub and a piece of the wall was missing under the ac. The breakfast was pitiful. The only thing for breakfast was waffles, bread, and cereal.

Room dirty, hallway dirty, hair in the bed, no one at counter at check in or out. No breakfast. Employees don’t even setup the dining area leaving chairs on the tables. This was my second and final stay at this hotel. Your owners should be notified of the lazy staff employed at this location. The place smells bad, lights are falling from the ceiling at the entrance, the elevator tracks are full of filth. It was obvious the room was not cleaned no condiments, very little toilet paper, just over all dirty. This has been reported by several people over the past weeks and it is obvious no actions have been taken. Someone of integrity should go visit this location in Galveston….

We were put in a room that looked like it should have been condemned. The bathroom was moldy, with wall trim missing, leaving holes. The window was not sealed right, so we had bugs and wind coming in. Above the TV and other places, there were layers of dust. The walls in the main room had holes or scratch marks on the wall, but that can be seen in the whole hotel. Also, our door lock was broken, so we could not get in half the time. We did try to move rooms, but they were doing construction on the other floors, so they didn’t have many rooms available. The breakfast should not be considered as a breakfast as it was just toast and expired waffle mix. I would give 0 stars.

Staff keeps this stay bearable
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were the best part of our stay. The beds were comfortable and the shower and bathroom products were nice. The carpet had been badly stained in one area, but it was overall clean. The air conditioning was a tad noisy but worked. The breakfast was barely adequate, and it really needs an upgrade. Add boiled eggs and yogurt, and it would be standard.
